Ever since Carol Lim and Humberto Leon helmed the house of Kenzo,
they have done an exceptional role with Asian models on plenty of opportunities,
and a platform to showcase the range of many Asian faces.
And they descend from all over the world - just not the three popular countries.

The duo are perhaps the only few Asian designers to have shown
a strong assertion for Asian representation on a large scale and continuously;
and that usually isn't driven by gimmicks or a political agenda,
but rather it's a fundamental and organic component that they have created,
foster and intend on growing within the brand's DNA.

Additionally, it's the acknowledgement and awareness that set these two
individuals from the pack regarding Asian diversity within the Asian community.
A topic that should be more open and discussed to show the variety
of how deep the Asian experience actually is. And if there's anyone who knows
how to surprise us with an unknown Asian model, Kenzo will be one of the first
to discover them... and beautifully highlight them in their show.
