Haha, Harry Potter? Alright lol!
I think I would use a lightweight jersey for the top.
Not very lux but everything I make has a sportswear background.
The short is actually meant to be utilized in sports like snowboarding where roominess is needed around the top and the bottom half needs to be close to the leg so it doesn't get caught on something of get in the way which I find happens with baggy legs.

hey guys...
i been working really hard on new silhouettes and ideas!!
i was so impressed with this design I HAD TO POST lol...
i would nominate the jacket on the left to represent what this collection is about.
the lined parts are kevlar
and the rest of the coat is patent~lined with green silk
B&W version (notice the other jacket)

and heres the colored version deconstructed with the skinny leg business pants (they are light black with silver over them) and a basic tee from this collection. all the metal is removable.

your designs is always amazing devon, there's only 1 single problem with it though...
u're not a fashion designer are u? coz all your designs missing important seam lines and darts, which is very important @_@ those clothes could nvr looks like that w/o all the seamlines and darts or style lines. anyway its just my opinion :P your designs are great :D

^
i think u need to understand at least basic sewing and all these to know where to put them and why XDDD or the easiest way, find sum1 who understand to help u putting all those things in X3 *well, that if u really want your design to work. its just my opinion, no hard feelings

haha I think fashionfied is totally right I know about sewing Im not a fashion designer but I know basic stuff about sewing and I have done some stuff so I get what she is talking about, you just have to draw thing that can be brought to real life

This is my first post ever!
I'm so glad I finally got invited to join tFS, 'cause I've been following this specific thread for a while, seeing everyone's creations, and I really wanted to contribute some of my own stuff to this creative storm.

I sketched these shoes just recently, and I don't normally design shoes (I'm more of an apparel-oriented person) so some of your thoughts would be valued!

omg those shoes are sooo nice! look kinda risky haha but pretty cool!

I also agree with fashionfied when I talked to a professional designer she told me always show darts, seams, zips and if possible type of fabric, or at least state on the side of the page about the fabric and materials.

Thought I'd upload this dress I designed a while ago. Now if only I was a good enough sewer to actual make the thing!
