how much do you pay for a manicure on average?
how often do you get one?

pedicure?...

i know it can vary wildly depending where you go...
so i am just trying to get an idea for the average cost...
also wondering if you went anywhere that charged a lot but you felt it was completely worth it...or not?..
thanks!

Haha, I went yesterday actually. The place where I go, they do a decent job and charge $40 for both manicure and pedicure (together). But I don't get anything fancy done, so maybe this is way cheaper than usual?

I pay around £30 for a manicure.

I only have them ocassionally though, so every sort of, 3-4 months.

I only get a manicure when I want to wear strong nail colours that I don´t manage to apply nicely, i.e. red. Or if I want a french manicure.

Since I don´t like the whole bathing, massaging of the hands, I often just have a polish change done when I go. But I remove old polish at home already because I feel the new one lasts longer when there has not been any remover close to my nails for a few hours.

I then pay about $ 12-20 per session.

The place I go costs £25.00 for a manicure, which is about average I think.

is it the same price for a man do you think?...
what if you only have a buff- non polish-llike a man?...

In Europe some places have seperate prices for men, around $10 for just filing and buffing.

I don't know men's prices ( I imagine they would be less expensive) but for a woman, I would expect to pay about $30-40 for a good manicure and $60-70 for a good pedicure. I like at go every 2-4 weeks for a mani and 4-6 weeks for a pedi (less in the winter - yes I'm shamefully lazy) :flower:

I pay £25 for an OPI manicure and £30 for a Pedicure not sure how that converts into dollars:blush:

I've never had a manicure before I'm considering but thing is I always chip my nail polish off. Do you think there worth having or do you think its better to get something like a facial done? (Sorry for not being able to answer any of the questions Softie )

Over here it's about $15-25 for a manicure. About $30-$40 for a pedicure.

I think so...it might be worth buying the nail colour they use though, incase you need to do some touch ups if its chips. But yes I think it's worth it as it keeps the nails looking nice, even when you take the colour off

I've been to three different places and always paid 15€ (about 20$) for a manicure.
