He has lost it, I am not starting to think I would like to see someone else at Balenciaga the guy is too caught up in his own hype he thinks he can turn everything into gold.

But if we compare this to what Balenciaga actually is, as done by Cristóbal Balenciaga, this is so far from it and its quality. Even if I didn't like the past collections this is the worst... messes up what Balenciaga is. Leave Balenciaga alone. The house is dead.

Don't shoot me here, but I actually love alot of the pieces individually However, I miss the direction of previous seasons, and I don't think the clothes exactly scream "Balenciaga". Where is the architecture and volume, indeed

Completely off the mark.... if he had at least executed the theme well, I would have been excited but Mina Perhonen, Steve J & Yoni P have done this folks/Mongolian theme INFINITELY better....

well, i'm not a guesquiere fan.. never been never will be

even though it's certainly nothing special, it somehow feels VERY VERY FRESH as a change of attitude from the house of balenciaga.. it's so not predictable and so very non pretentious that i honestly prefer it to his last collection

I....hate this, actually, and that makes me sad. It just looks so messy. It's both bizarre and commercial without any real nice middle ground. The prints and everything, I just find it horrible overall not my cup of tea at all.

it feels like everyone is all of a sudden giving up on balenciaga- but i find this very refreshing, very street, a bit urban and all wearable. this is an especially nice departure after taking us to the moon last season. and i absolutely adore his use of print on sashas dress

Need to see the rest of it, but so far it looks like a mish mash of thrift store finds, and of course Balenciaga will be charging through the nose for all of it. I didn't see the pre-fall so maybe it's just me missing a step, but where is the continuity from spring to fall?

A lot of it is really, really hideous, but I kind of like a few of the blazers and the dresses. I want to see the entire collection first, though. Regardless, though, it doesn't seem like Balenciaga at all, even the nicer pieces.

It reminds me of early Ghesquiere at Balenciaga (the patchwork dresses come to mind)...I actually kind of like it, though the exaggerated Jodhpur pants are nighmarish and those shoes are rehashes from like 2003. It is really random though, it goes from being a Balenciaga collection to Chanel, Missoni and Dsquared. It's not very focused. Also, it seems like he played w/ a kafiyah...Uh, that was like 2 years ago, Nicolas, it's kind of dead now.

WAIT stop the presses...is that a "B" hanging from the belt loop? Gucci Group is creating a monster.

agree. although he did that "chanel" looking tweed before so I wouldn't say it's from Chanel.
I hate the overly accessorized outfits. I understand that Gucci is trying to sell more accessories, but it is way too distracting. Diorling I actually like the jacket you posted very much.
and the dresses look very expensive.

after stealing the hottest ideas from Givenchy ss06 and dior couture fw06 he created his highly praised ss07 collection which i thought was trash the shoes were hot tho.
this season just proves he should leave and do his own thing because this looks like a joke like hes going to say i was just playing heres the real collection.
