I'm underwhelmed by this but most of it is still gorgeous nonetheless, especially the evening wear. The detailing is exquiste as always but I feel like Tisci has been holding himself back the past 2 seasons. This just looks so commercial in comparison to his previous collections. It will certainly please his critics by the looks of it..
Hoping for a vast improvement come SS08!..

I love it. I am not a fan of animal prints but I love how it completely covers almost all their skin. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the black/animal look. Tisci/Givenchy is fast becoming a favourite.

God is in the details.! Just because Tisci presents his garments sans dramatics (coughGALLIANOcough) does not mean they are lacking, both creatively and technically, in craftsmanship. If anything he is a sheer genius for combining practicality and haute couture.


Anyway, I am not too keen on the leopard pieces and the frilly, shiny blue gown but everything else, especially the inspired jackets, is absolutely brilliant. More or less, another hit, imo, for Tisci.

i can say that i like the fact that he does something that ive never really sen before but some of the this stuff just looks silly...what ever happened to cheetah print in moderation isnt that the rule?

I love the black dress on Bruna and some of the grey pieces, the details seem brilliant as always.. the rest.. I'd love to be condescending to Tisci because I truly admire his (usual) work but it's all just.. extremely boring, to put it nicely... fur always seems to verge on the vulgar, it takes some real talent to make it work and I think he has all the skills to be good at it, this just looks so poorly motivated.. like he did it almost by force.. and those tacky evening dresses.. *sigh*.. there's always a next season for everyone, i guess.

if i dont hate fur as much, maybe i ll like some of the outfits better.
the leopards...my goodness it created a HORRID first impression of the show.
im just really not feeling the animal things going on.

but the textures are lovely! and some of the dresses are gorgeous! while some others are not so much.
not the usual tisci, but i dont hate it.
like what some of the others said, i thought this collection was not as impressionable as the s/s collection.
