I totally agree with MyNameIs about Nicole Kidmans fashion being overrated, but I just do not get all the fuss around Julia Roberts' Valentino gown. If I remember correctly Valentino himself said that her wearing that dress was a career highlight of his. The dress just looks dated to me.

Of the looks already posted included in my list would be Cate Blanchett in Givenchy, Keira Knightley in the white Rodarte and Pink strapless Chanel, Anne Hathaway in Atelier Versace and Jessica Stam in Dior.

^Yes, please post them. Not many daywear outfits stay with me as most celebrities/fashion folk either dress:
A. like sh!t
B. boring/drab/monotonous (especially when compared to evening wear)
C. exactly the same as one another
D. as if they are going to a cocktail party

I've only been into fashion for like a year and because of that have only really paid attention to the more recent outfits. I have chosen what I personally think are the best outfits of the past decade of what I know.

I haven't picked any outfits that I think look just ok and I actually cannot stand Jennifer Conelly, so....

That's why I made a seperate thread for the Best Celeb Style of 09. I think there are a few celebs who are trendsetters and risk takers and truely deserve multiple mentions. But I think there are a few that look good in a few outfit and the are posted by their fans for that reason. Maybe I should have a thread for Best Celeb Style of the Decade too?
