Bruno Pieters S/S 10 Paris

I dont like it too much, but i should have expected, last season was so spectacular, i know it was next to impossible to top that...............this is way below what i have come to expect of him though.

Exactly... Bruno is a master when it comes to craftsmanship. Even when he does minimal silhouettes, the details are always awe-inducing. Those photos in post#18 are unreal. Not only are the pieces boring, but they look poorly made.

it seems really repetitive, though i like that transparent jacket.

 I can hardly believe this.. a dresses-only collection done by a man that can do tailoring like no other.. this s**t belongs to Rodarte, Kane.. and then he had to do bandages too. This is not the solution, Bruno, ADVERTISE!!.:cry:

Such a lazy effort on his part, though there is something very desperate about it, oddly enough. I understand the importance of profit in times like these, but must all aesthetic inclinations take a backseat in the name of it? This collection is so devoid of a personality, it could be any anyone's work.

Seeing the wrap dresses and the full drape pieces I literally leant my head in my hands and wailed "Oh no. Nononononoo."
What the hell was he thinking when he did those?
Of course there are a few incredible architectural pieces and even the textured dresses with the hoods are good, but Bruno Pieters doing draping? I could cry.
So disappointed in you Mr Pieters.
This season is not going well.

The dresses in #23 make me crazyyyyy, how many drapey strip-cut short jersey dresses does the world need at this point? I've always admired his sense of geometry and his clever use of seams, qualities that have become useless in good 3/4 of this collection. Sad.

this is too 'influenced', all essense of bruno is lost. this goes beyond compromising into the territory of doing himself and his talent a big disservice.

some nice pieces, but I'd rather look at Bruno Pieters himself then spend too much time looking at this mediocre collection

This collection seems much softer, and I'm not liking this, especially those first nude looks. Bruno is at his best with hard, angular clothes. Maybe next season he can find a better balance between the two
