For those who don't get the ending of the show, the collection was inspired by English female explorer Freya Stark and the Bertolucci film "Under A Sheltering Sky" it's basically about how a female explorer progresses her wardrobe first from arriving in the Sahara in her own clothing, then adapting it with Maghreb prints etx, then moving into clothing more suited to the hot sandy conditions, the khaki the camoflage etc.
The ending was to represent a mirage where out of the piercing sun in the distance she comes across the native African women and their completely different insanely colourful almost tribal clothing.
Voilà lol, hope that helps clear it up somewhat!
And for info the show was styled by Anastasia Barbieri from Vogue Paris
