Kenzo S/S 10 Paris

This is all over the place. Every Kenzo trademark in a single collection. Anyhow, a lot of the prints are vibrant and fun. The camo print is major mistake though. It almost always ends up looking bad, imo. I love the wrap tops and the shrunken, double-breasted blazer w/ the metallic ombre effect. Overall, it's pretty solid if a bit cluttered, but still it is very true to the essence of Kenzo.

I do agree that it is so all over the place, but I really like it.

True and True

I love Tao's one shoulder deal. It's soo pretty!

what is up with the end of the show? seriously bad. although i like the checks.

I've always loved Kenzo's collections. This season's looks are very vibrant and eclectic. Personally I think they try to target a broad, broad range of styles in every show. :D Thanks for posting the pics!

definitely marras is one of the most underrated designers today.
the designs are great (even the obi, which was already done by marc jacobs for LV 2 seasons ago), preserving the spirit of kenzo yet giving it new and fresh life. clothes are wearable yet not tacky. the kenzo woman is not immediately identifiable here, but i think i can see the slow progression.
it certainly helps too that kenzo has a strong PR team, giving it a lot more exposure than ever before during takada kenzo's days even.

I didn't except it, but I like the collection, usually I'm not a huge Kenzo fan, but some pieces in that show are really interesting!!

Some really lovely layers here, that collaged layers of checks body is *very* desirable...

Definitely one of my favorites of the season.

Such a positive show! I love the blue and white Moroccan mosaic prints, I love the stripes and I love, love, love those blazers that have the gradation of the sequins..stunning.

Much better than last season (too folksy)...this is so smart and fresh.

I definitely love it, love the jackets, coats and dresses, love the colour palette a lot and oversized clutches are very nice too

some lovely stuff.
the runway looks quite incredible too

not incredibly cohesive(i dont get the addition of the last few looks), but i like most of it, and the first outfit on anna s.

kenzo always presents something nice enough, but perhaps they should consider scheduling their show before dries van noten...i mean, it's just so night and day even though they're doing the same thing essentially. i mean, with this collection, kenzo falls into the category of the etro....and i don't know if that's a good thing.

i almost love every single outfit!!!! great collection!
