:woot: and so it begins...can't wait to see the rest of the campaign! thank you for starting the thread :flower:

This looks AMAZING so far! I love the concept of it, the fog, the setting...

this looks intresting. thanks for posting. can't wait to see more

Looks okay but I need to see a bigger pic.

i like it. very old burberry campaign. is that smoke or fog???

Looks pretty good, I like the setting, but I miss Lily already, she is the perfect Burberry girl!

I like it so far but from the tiny preview, Rosie looks like a Maryna Linchuk wannabe :innocent:

It's alot better than the last few seasons jam packed cast. Rosie still seem's like a strange choice for Burberry...

I love it so far, the setting, the mist, the two of them. And Sam Riley... yay! Although I actually never would've considered Rosie as an option for Burberry. I sure miss Lily, I secretly thought that she would somehow appear next to Rosie all of a sudden:(

I need to see more. Not so excited now.

Wow! I love it. Rosie looks amazing  Much better than the previous Burberry campaigns.

Me neither, but I think that her relationship with Tyrone Wood may have helped her get the campaign.

I like the concept from what I can see. Some people have said its boring but I love the simplicity of their campaigns, it works well with their clothes.

The Newest It-Couple

SAM RILEY and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have teamed up to do their beautiful thing for Burberry for autumn/winter 2008-9.
In a dramatic departure from the label's spring/summer 2008's rock-inspired campaign, the couple were shot by Mario Testino in black and white for a nostalgic set of images that creative director Christopher Bailey sums up as "capturing the poetic melancholy and romance of the winter collections".
The moody presence of Riley, who won international acclaim for his role as Ian Curtis in last year's Anton Corbijn film Control, is sure to have the boys - as well as the girls - clamouring for their new-season Burberry fix.
Bailey explains that Riley, coming from the north of England, was the perfect fit for the campaign, especially as the collections were inspired by Northern painter LS Lowry.
"Sam is a really talented actor I admire both professionally and personally," he says. "When I saw him in Control, he just completely blew me away and it just felt like a perfect fit for Burberry and the mood of this campaign."
He adds: "In my opinion he will be one of the best British leading actors. Sam also happens to be a Northern lad with great Northern style who was just a joy to work with and who I always enjoy spending time with."
