Burberry Prorsum S/S 2008 : Agyness, Lily D, Coco Sumner, Alice Gibb by Mario Testino

why everybody keep saying that it's bad? however I got surprised at the first sight for the lightfulness and vigor the campaign brings to me. of course, it's not the first Burberry does colorful campaigns, but it's the first time that I find delight in it. I like the change which I'm always seeking for.

the only thing wrong with this ad is the model poses and facial expressions. esp. lily and agyness. i don't understand why they chose to wear daze and mouths wide open looks for each shot. its not attractive at all.

Agyness' mouth was open in 4 of her 9 shots. Lily was the open with the perpetually open mouth.

I love the ad but it's true why are they aways with this weird open mouth ? do you think they directed them in this way ?

sometimes...

...a chaotic look isn´t the worst. so i really like this new burberry campaign. but probably not because of this pix by testino, it´s more a certain addiction to the homme part of it. this suits, coats, pants etc are so rad. love it.

and agy looks great on it.

and off topic...hello to the fashion spot members and loads of love:heart::flower:

cheers,
sirdorian

Young and fresh campaign for the old upscalish marketing style of Burberry. Nice turn.

i think they started out this "get a new younger image" campaign with the A/W 2007/8. agy brought them a new face.

I think not only because of the new younger image. The men's wear are all colourful and they will be dumb enough showing it in black and white campaign.

it's a good idea, the execution was bad. lily looks like someone spiked her drink.

This just looks so... amateur? Like they grabbed a bunch of high school hipsters off the street, and said "try really hard to look like you are modeling." This would be a succesful campaign for Club Monaco or some other almost hip mid-level retailer, but its embarrassing for a high end company like Burberry.

Does anyone know the name of the redheaded guy? Trying to find his name is driving me crazy!
