I do not underastand wearing a short dress to a formal gala. Tatiiana's short dress looked nice, but out of place.

I prefer the dresses worn by Brook Shields and Inès de la Fressange to Princes Caroline's. Princess Caroline's dress was appropriate for the evening, but I think a bit to serious, plain. I liked Charlotte's dress, it looks like a Channel, of course. Who designed Princess Caroline's dress?

I've watched the videos above you posted, they are nice. I like Caroline's voice there, and everything. Maybe not what she is wearing, but well, it was the 80's.

I know what you mean, a Hawaiian muumuu is exactly what I thought of when I saw her gown. Princess Caroline has worn this type of A-line style before with fabric gathered at the shoulders and billows of skirt out from there.

According to "Point du Vue" magazine, Princess Caroline's dress was made in Nigeria. Thay may explain why it's design is unique and unusual.

Princess Caroline and The Republic of Niger

I think that it will be difficult to find any detailed information about the gown Princess Caroline wore to the 2010 Rose Ball. The gown was from NIGER. She has done a lot of humanitarian work for African nations through AMADE. In February 2009 she was in Niger as president of AMADE seeking to improve care for children in schools. AMADE was working on projects to develop tutoring programs, oversee the construction of a new school and renovate existing facilities.
