I find this collection very hit or miss. I like some of the Beau Brummel inspired looks and the final section somewhat (perfect for Amanda Harlech) but a lot of the looks in the middle of the show seem especially vulgar and kitsch. The green looks are OK, but I think that color is best suited for the country rather than the city.

Also, the menswear is just awful imo...so tacky...Beau Brummel would roll over in his grave as these looks are so utterly without style. The zippers are especially offensive and in general the fabrics look incredibly cheap. These looks make me seriously question KL's judgement.

I wish he would have imparted some of the magic he employs for couture to this collection. Considering the inspiration for the collection it could have been GREAT.

Also, the baby pink quilted wool bags are vile!

The green is definitely a different direction for Chanel. I liked some of the pieces, but it wasn't really jaw-dropping amazing.

The collection is great! The b/w pieces are fabulous (construction! wow!) and the green and pink are great for comic relief!

Green is actually one of my favorite colors but I am not feeling it in this collection. The colors used (aside from black) are not really Fall colors. The shoes and hats are ugly

i honestly adore this collection. it is so chanel in every sense of it. the colors and the pink. i am not the fan of this green shade, but materials and designs look promising. its very feminine, all these ruffles. styling and make-up is also eye-catching. i dont know why so many people dont like it. in my opinion its a bit dramatic, but the whole show was overall great. i am totally feeling this.
