Discussion: Who Should Be The Creative Director of Gucci?

Hahah, I mean. I really doubt it. No one in his right mind could’ve picked him, but it was an ex-Gucci manager the one saying that.

Maybe it’s just a rumour. After his Fendi, I doubt someone wants him and much less a top5 brand.

Hello guys, I heard something crazy at the office today and I give it 0 credibility but… someone mentioned Kim Jones and that the deal is already done. I don’t believe it but still ☠️☠️☠️☠️
So this person who said that is reliable? so KJ to do it all? …that would be crazy but maybe could work in a crazy way. I dont want him to do it…but who knows…

Cantino is crazy

The thing is is Kering execs still want Gucci to be minimal or wtf they want….

Also how these CD jump from one brand to another…they dont wanna rest? Im sure LvMH payed KJ good…

I don’t know, but for sure he heard it from Gucci HQ managers, but maybe it’s just a rumour. I would say KJ has been considered at least, but I doubt the deal is done. The timing in which this all happened makes you think it might be a possibility, but who knows.

If they want to keep on with the logo and the tacky things, he might be the right choice. If they want to save the brand, it’s already a disaster. But considering Cantino’s way of working, he might be the only “big” name ready for the gig.

:bash: Wouldn’t surprise me but wow just when I thought this can’t get any worse they potentially do this to us:hardhead:

even tho I couldn’t care less about her, I believe the only person who can save Gucci from this mess at the moment is Maria Grazia Chiuri

Exactly....someone must do a documentary about all these silly hire/fire things because it's getting ridiculous...

In fact they need to redo Sabato's documentary to explain the debacle his appointment was in the end...

That woman Federica de Salto was also fired?

I mean after Proenza at Loewe… nothing in this world would surprise me. It is the most random decision I’ve ever heard. Even Wang at Balenciaga made more sense because at least he had some hype at the moment.
