Do you think models read their threads on this forum?

I asked her.

Honestly, they ALL read their threads. If you ask them , it's as though they are asked that a 100 times.

Believe me when I say that you know when it is them. They make it so obvious that it is them. I mean the ones that hide it are so easy to pick out. The way they comment and much more gives it away, but I don't want to expose any models as I respect their privacy, but believe me when I say that I know many models who hide their identity but you know that it is them.

I asked Katie Braatvedt if she knows about her thread and the first thing she told me was that someone said she looked like Mick Jagger
not cute, guys. she looks like mick jagger.

I feel for some models who read their threads because I know a lot worse has been said than that :(

i went outside the shows in london, and when i photographed i spoke to them and i also asked them if they read tfs. they all said yes...

Not only models read tFS apparantly...check out this picture inside the Supreme offices from coacd's twitter.

So true, if some people would know of Freja's account. :shifty:

It's easier for moms to check TFS for pictures of their model children then to purchase magazine from all over the world.

Sometimes the models ambush the bookers' computers. You know, for google mapping castings, to check TFS, to replace their desktop backgrounds with hilariously horrible images, etc. Not that I would have any experience in this.. but just throwing the model culprit option back in there :innocent:

i would encourage some models to steer clear of their threads. the obsession of some 'fans' can be frightening.

Eniko Mihalik reads TFS...I remember her mentioning in in an interview for i-D January 2009 (mainly about how people were being disapproving of her going to some club which was known for where old guys try to hook up with models- she didn't seem to mind too much though).

well being a model, u know what ur getting into, so u have to bear with all that is being said.
everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
its sad, but true.

Hahaha I remember that chat in her thread  The club that was being discussed is 1 Oak in NY. I actually have that i-D issue but I guess I didn't get to read that. She's also a tFS member.

It's just a trendy quiche club a lot of models go to. Any club where numerous models attend could be easily seen as somewhere where guys will try to pick them up, the same descriptive could be said about the fashion after parties so the disapproving speculation is pretty shrug-worthy IMO
