I find the good thing with a slouchy beanie is that there is enough space at the back for you to have your hair tied back. I quite often will tie my hair up,and a hat won't sit right on,or it'll mess up my hair.
I'm trying to incorporate an old mans flat cap into my warbrobe, not sure what to wear it with yet,but it seems to be keeping my head quite warm.

It's starting to get a bit cold where I live and I'm looking forward to the winter. Anyways, my question is regarding winter boots. I have a pair of L.L. Bean wellies which I wear with a liner or with wool socks my mom knit. I love my wellies a lot but I was thinking of purchasing a pair of Bean Boots by L.L.Bean, 8'' Thinsulate's. Since where I live gets quiet snowy I'd like to have the ability to mix it up once in awhile and not always be stuck wearing my wellies. So what do you think? They aren't necessarily that fashionable but I have seen some people pull them off really well.
