Well, yeah. Nowadays magazines "think" it's enough to combine big names (in this case Gisele and I&V) to create something thrilling. This proves their recipe is far from alright. With a little luck though, we'll get a couple interesting pages out of the story inside...

It's a reprint after all, so I'm not too phased personally.

Seems it's a pretty serious interview and behind Gisele smiling like a Coke Life ad. There's a weird part of fashion magazine covers when the main photo it's all glamour and joy, and the text are "exclusive: the war... abortion... COVID.... etc, etc, etc". All serious and dark stuff. But yeah, it's a magazine, it works that way.

Yep it's about a former tv host who has been accused by a lot of women (including the writer on the cover) of sexual assaults.

It's weird but understandable. Elle France has always been like that. No matter how much serious the cover story or interviews are inside the issue, they always feature some lighthearted lifestyle or fashion editorials.

Looking online, the Gisele edit seems go be a straight reprint of the recent US Elle cover story, with no further imagery. There's a two-part interview, but it's probably also a reprint, it says the usual stuff about her past career and her eco work, and whether she'll be coming back to modelling/runway work.

The issue is 118 pgs in total.
