Well as much as I love fashion I ended up studying Graphic Design because none of the fashion programs here appealed to me and I wanted to have a broader knowledge in case I wanted to do something non fashion related. I really love GD and I'm taking a 'speciality' course at my school in fashion design next semester. High hopes.
I wish fashion was taken more seriously here too, I do agree some designers are good but most are not up to the level of worldwide fashion designers. it's sad and a harsh but true.

I know this thread is a little old but I'm thinking about moving to Mexico.
I currently live in the United States and fashion is something I always wanted to do. What schools do you think would be good for a person like me with a mostly English background? I am Mexican but I haven't been back since I was seven. Would it be difficult?
