Gucci F/W 08.09 : Lily, Kasia, Ksenia, Abbey Lee, Eniko by Inez & Vinoodh

I am not a huge fan of this at all. I don't really like the cast and how they are used. Lily is obviously the main girl in all of this and the other ones are just props in the background, which is a shame. Although I do like the setting that they chose, I think it compliments and brings out the clothes nicely.

I'm not a fan of Gucci ads(only SS07 was really interesting)but those are really really bad
In 3 pics we have seen:Lily Donaldson,sunglasses,2 fur coats and 2 bags...no other models and NO DRESSES!!!!
It's a shame

I really like them, I think Lily is perfect for these ads and if one model had to be the starring role in them, I'm glad it is her.

I can't complain about Lily being front and center, she's looks amazing and she fits the collection wonderfully.

i think these look good and the scenery compliments the collection but wow they literally cut off that other girls head? i mean at least they got the campaign but i was interested in seeing everyone (except abbey lee) not just lily

That's just wrong. Eniko is pretty but was it really necesssary for the photographer to allow a picture where her hair is blocking someone's head like that?

But there are going to be a lot of these it's not necessary ... it gives the editorial a spontaneous feel. I'm glad of the ad hoc atomosphere and her hair is in front of the guys face because if you were just taking a snapshot it would be that way i suppose

either way i like it. Everyone will have their chance to be the focal point. But they seem to be trying to not make it look like a line up or something.

Sorry, I'd prefer Eniko or Abby Lee to be up and centre in these ads. That eyewear shot of Lily's ed makes me feel that she's about to twist it around and ask for my planet's leaders....or her Raelian followers...and then a second head will shoot out of her mouth. (Never did like her look much. )

I really like it. It reminds me of old record covers. And I also love that the only real vibrant colors are the small flowers Lily is holding. There has been so much in your face color recently in fashion that I'm glad to see something a little faded.
