Now that was a Gucci show worth staying up to watch Everything was perfect, I loved all the fabrics, the colors, the shapes. It all felt so cohesive without it being boring like her past few shows have been, even if it ended with the usual parade of sheer evening gowns So much better than her last fall show.
there was some great looks and some great dresses.
i actualy loved the vampire look on the models but there was something missing, actualy i think theres something missiing on Gucci since s/s 2009 but nevermind...it was a good show!
The show was extremely GLAMOROUS! All the pieces, if individually seen, were stand-out! The collection had the flamboyance of the 70's, the fierceness of the Victorian era, and the vivaciousness of the 21st century! I would have to say that this is one of several collections that define what GUCCI really is!
I hated the long skirts and slouchy pants. the finale tulle dresses were really exquisite and elegant/romantic, as were the knee-length sheath dresses which I liked best. overall for me the collection wasn't as good as the last two seasons, but certainly not entirely disappointing as some of her earlier collections were...
and I can't wait to get a better a look at the top-handle bags
Loved her idea of "dark romanticism", the capes, the velvet dresses and suits, the black feathers, the boots, everything looked so glamorous and sophisticated with a lovely dark touch. The gowns were amazing too, very Rodarte-ish.
I didn't like this at all. I see some good pieces, but I think everything looks very dated. I also saw some bad interpretations of Lanvin in the middle, and Marchesa at the end.
