Gucci F/W 13.14 Milan

Some pieces were nice, but when they were bad....they were REALLY BAD. The evening dresses, the pants, the satin outfits looked heinous, the tailoring was so sloppy, as if they were sewn last night, which I highly suspect was the case lol.

the finale gowns really hurt my eyes, the rest was pretty solid and gorgeous, and I absolutely loved all the fantastic bags

i liked the collection overall but the end pieces looked like frida got bored and spontaniously decided to stick down feathers randomly.

Amazing collection, every piece stood out as its own as well as managing to look like a complete package. Amazing.

Wow, what a horrid, insipid collection. I can count on my fingers the things that I liked here (a black dress on Ava, a padded blue dress on Maud, a black dress with lace neckline on Julia N, the purses, the gloves, and the snakeskin high boots). Choice of fabrics was so wrong. And the eveningwear is one of the vilest things I've seen in my life. Those dresses look like carnival costumes.

For me it's their best collection in years, the leather pieces especially are gorgeous and really luxe. It's the Gucci like it's supposed to be, sexy and everything.
I'm not a fan of some evening gowns but all in all am very pleasantly surprised.

The looks at the beginning were quite nice actually, but those evening dresses are horrible!
The idea is nice but the execution is absolutely hideous!

I want to love this, I love the prints, the embroidery, the detailing, the cuts, the color palette (everything, really)... BUT there is a major tailoring snafu going on, the fabrics are bunching and sagging, and making these girls frames appear much bigger than they are.

The whole collection doesn't look fresh, the large necklines make the models look older and the last part was a big no.

This is horrible. I miss the Gucci days where Frida would make youthful, rock 'n' roll clothes. Sigh, something along the lines of FW07. It was classic, rock 'n' roll, but edgy, elegant, and cool. I hate the silhouettes of the suits in this. The eveningwear is diving though.
