Gucci Mens F/W 10.11 Milan

Umm, her collections might not be good sometimes but I've never seen one that is this boring in terms of design. These are all really basic pieces so far that I could find anywhere.

This is pretty boring...definitely need to see more
But those bags looks gorgeous so far

I like the knits. But then I'm a sucker for any kind of knit, so anyway...
The leopard print on Jonas looks phierce.

There are actually some really nice pieces for Winter.
Knits and such. I'm especially enjoying all this brown.

I like the bags. Not a fan of the styling... or the animal print coats for that matter.

it's all very basic, no real 'Gucci' extravaganza, but also doesn't look like typical 'Frida'-Gucci, so that's a good thing!

that beige sheerling jacket looks lush tho!

Disappointing so far, what happened to the edge of women's collection? I think the bags are a little chinatown tacky.

This looks pretty interesting. I'm happy that there's no "sporty and cool rock star" attitude this time, just classic timeless pieces like coats, jackets, even knits. And the bags... amazing.

THOSE BAGS! especially the birkin look-a-like massive BAGS!!! I WANNTTTT!!! AHHHHH, the rest is okay, though very wearable :)

Gucci flew in a new boy from Manchester as an exclusive to open the show. He got a black eye at the airpot. Cue creative hair re-adjustment!

I find it shocking that some of us applaud this in terms of design, this is now 2010 and she has yet to say anything with menswear that is even remotely relevant to where men are now. In fact, she has nothing to say about it, nothing even minutely interesting to contribute. If you squinted, you might think it was old Burberry or old this or old that. What makes this Gucci from Frida's point of view? If Tom were still at the house, I doubt he'd cling so hard to these now globalized elements of luxury, even though he himself introduced them. Men are more complicated, more interesting, more exciting, engaged and diverse than this portrayal of tricked up kept boys she champions for Gucci. In the words of Viktor & Rolf: NO
