What defines the Gucci style? Of course it can't be like Tom Ford used to do. It's a completely new designer.

i think we now have the proof that tom ford was much better for gucci. it s so hard to see all those patterns. imo, they should stick to solid colors and not so busy patterns. and i miss the sexy kitten gucci was so known for.

well that sex/heavy eyeliner was actuly 'TOM FORD for GUCCI' but not GUCCI, it is obvious that the objective of this collection is to start over again without any trace of TOM FORD's era...it is more like a transection collection to a establish a new gucci or maybe capture the spirit of the original Florintine 'lady like' GUCCI, not the sexy 'sluty' Texan GUCCI.

just like the polka dots collection Pilati did for YSL...it was only an turning point to introduce & set up a new image & mood.

and if ur still missing the sex/heavy eyeliner, it will be back in 2006 when TOM FORD will establish his own label.

i quite like this.....its MUCH better than all that slinky brown sh*t that fenichetti (or whatever her name was) was doing. Its still sexy much has a niavety that i find much less offensive than the old gucci

The more I see it the more I hate it. It's not that the clothes are ugly or anything but it's not Gucci imo. That Tom Ford look is what made Gucci is today. Gucci was sexy, sl*tty, trashy, tacky and exciting. This collection is cute and soft. Tom wasn't great at YSL but he is Gucci's rtw legacy.
