That's what really bothered me. But hey, I suppose JKR didn't won't to bother with introducing someone new in the epilogue and it is a childrens novel. In real life, Harry and Ginny would have dated for a few months, then broke up, and Ron and Hermione would have gotten married and then divorced due to irreconcilable differences.

... and thats why it dosen't take place in the US!

Ok. So why for the sake of all that is holy would Harry and Ginny name their child Albus Severus (I know I have talked about this forever, but I'm bored now). You would think they would come up with something a little younger. And I know that they are trying to do it as a dedication to Dumbeldore and Snape, but come on! They could of just been his middle names!

I don't understand how people can not see that H&H were never going to be together. There are plenty of hints throughout the book of R&H and H&G. JK even confirmed this in that Mugglenet interview. This is how it's ment to be.

Label Basher--I agree with TGA--readers can see it and idealize that they should be together. I knew that H&H will probably never end up together from the very start, but I still thought that they had amazing chemistry even though there are SO MANY hints of R&H and H&G--I saw them all. I'm not blind. JK can be so obvious when she wants to--but I still believe in my H/Hr.

I never really understood why he and Cho never worked out.

I think partly due to Cedrics death and how she wasnt like Harry's other friends really; he wasn't mostly uncomfortable around her, it didnt really seem like they developed a great friendship to begin with either

Cho wasn't actually interested in him; honestly, it seemed to me like dating Harry was just a way to get information on Cedric.

According to JKR, she wanted to Harry to have a first kiss that wasn't Ginny, to make it more realistic. But it was never anything serious.

But at the time, she was still grieving for Cedric, and their relationship seemed much more serious (Cho was the most important person to Cedric, according to the 2nd task).

I don't think she disliked Harry or anything, but I still think she used him. She knew he was the only one there when Cedric died.
