No, it's not. Her and Rihanna's style sense is as polarising as that of Sienna, Nicole Richie, Mischa, and the Olsens during the previous decade. And they were constantly forced down our throats as 'style icons'. I suppose it's nice to see fashion magazines play fair. InStyle's readers will lap this up.

The cover looks great, especially that shade of green. InStyle seems to be getting better, and I've finally got used to the new layout and masthead.

^^Aussie InStyle bringing out the big guns, with Vogue Australia's guest-edited Testino issue set for release at any moment! Kudos. What a fabulous cover with a very celebratory feel to it, I like it.

Lupita Nyong'o looks fantastic on the cover of American InStyle! She really does photograph like a dream and that cover shot is no exception. I love how the masthead compliments the Proenza Schouler dress and I look forward to more.

Re: Lupita>> first time I like a redesigned cover of theirs, might consider getting it. It's very positive and natural, suits well for April when everything is green and bright.
I must say I'm glad international editions kept the old logo and hopefully won't switch it anytime soon. It really is a trademark of InStyle, something that makes it different.

The US edition is really going full-scale with this redesign, adapting the website to the same style, which tells me that they're not about to change back anytime soon. My guess is that the international editions might follow suit sometime soon.
