Speaking of Chanel..... what ever came of that post about the "happy sunshine" mark on the CC lock? Was it only on specific models from certain years? Just the flat CC and not the rounded/domed CC? Or is it supposed to be on every lock?

I would definitely agree with you in terms of the actual regular sellers, like Catty or Jacky who would want to be advertised and get more customers, but I think babybluestar and shelleybean are referring to the private Bagswap transactions, whose sellers might not necessary want their dealings to be posted onto the forum for everyone to see.

Maybe, but the sellers from bagswap come from here, and it's important for people to know what they're getting themselves into. especially when people buy bags, talk them up here just to later sell them on bagswap for a profit. that is just plain dodgy. IF we can talk about the bags we buy from ioffer, ebay, and our sellers here, then bagswap is really no different. People are allowed to voice their opinions and bagswap in an open place so i'd say if you're doing something you don't want to do or doing a dodgy sale or something you're not part of then dont' bother doing it there. IT's supposed to be a close community of people who trust each other.

so i'd say discussion is more than encouraged. or what's next are we not allowed to talk about our ioffer purchases here? in any case, it's all for the mods to say and not bossy, know it all members. c'est tout!

Amethyst Update.... I emailed the boys this morning to see if i'd have my Amy City for my birthday in three weeks (I love birthdays more than Christmas - am so excited!). They basically said no. So like I said in an earlier post this week about the two week timescale.... A hem.
I don't think we are gona see them hit us until at least November. Just incase anyone had their heart set on receiving their little bundle of joy sooner.... Sorry no cigar!

If they choose to mention it that's fine, otherwise, it should be kept private. I know that I don't want my transactions being mentioned here. Sweetie, they've been mentioned before, and I didn't name names. You've actually mentioned the source more in the above post than in my compliment to her about her bag. You might want to take your own suggestion, just a helpful hint.

Yeah, Bagswap is supposed to be a close community of trusted and screened members who have been allowed a private invite. Not all of the people on this board fall into that criteria though. And no, Bagswap is totally different from the sellers from iOffer. Since, as you say, the sellers from Bagswap come from here,I think it'd be a little more than rude if you went onto this board posting pictures of other members bags, and asking everyone, "Oh, hey, what do you guys think of _____ bags?". While I may not have anything to hide or want to go about in shady dealings, I also don't want to see everyone having an open discussion with my bags in the air. I think it just shouldn't be done out of consideration for the other members of the group.
I'm not sure which members you're referring to who are trying to turn a profit off of the bags, but if you see it happen, just notify a Mod. Simple as that. No need for public stonings.

And I'm not sure what I said back there that made you feel like I was being a 'know-it-all', but would it be possible for you in the future to have a proper discussion without the sarcasm and little snide comments? I was simply stating my thought on the matter, without imposing my opinions on others, and definitely without the snarky attitude that you're coming out with here.

I personally would not discuss a transaction/purchase that I am making on bagswap2 here. That being said just for the record I would like to say that every bag I have purchased from bagswap2 has been just as described by the seller and I have gotten a fair price for everything that I have purchased.

I was tempted to buy an exotic skin (python paraty) but having bought a croco embossed YSL tribute a year or so back I decided to stay with smooth leather with mine, as there is a fine line with the exotics of looking plasticky..(IMO)
Thats the the thing..Wish I could fly to Ghangzhou in my dreams and check em all out before i buy them!
I also wish it was considered quite normal to carry 2 bags at the same time!

pixellated I think the RED list needs to be either sent or re-sent. Not sure if it's gone already I have my doubts still that they will offer this colour any time soon. I don't know how it works exactly.... Do you think:

a)T&D order their colours from the Factory in Italy and they provide them
or
b) The factory runs their own colours and T&D have to choose from what is on offer

This confuses me and makes me think we still could be a long way off red. Which makes me a sad bunny
