I'm not sure if I can say this without offending anyone, but I think that maybe her English isn't the greatest and she's not conveying everything that she intends to say correctly?

I do however, agree that $9000 for a replica Hermes is quite ridiculous.

Sandraswan: I'm not 100% positive but I think that there have been members on the forum from Spain that have bought items from sellers in China but someone might have to clarify that fact.

That is true, but I have sold those 1100.00 bags for up to $9000.00 so its totally worth it, especially when you are dealing with exotic colors like Brighton Blue, and Ceil.

And of course these customers are thinking they are getting an authentic bag? Shame on you!!!

I mean, for $9K you can buy authentic used Hermes--why waste that insane amount of money on a fake???

i was at H just a few weekends ago to buy another strap for my medor watch. i believe the price my SA quotes for a togo birk was well under 9K. she's always pushing me to place an order and i'm like . i'd vomit spending that much money on a bag.

Okay so we were already wondering if the Coral 2.55 on Jacky's site was ever produced by Chanel, now he's got a Turquoise and a Tan...anyone know about these ones? The colours are great, but.......!?!?

Chelsita Did you ever get an answer to this question? In my recent trips to Chanel, both this season and last season, I must admit that I did not come accross any of those colours. I also know that Chanel does a Beige and not Tan. Could any of you Chanel experts please chime in.

This thread certainly has a million more Bal enthusiasts than Chanel lovers, or maybe that's cos the Chanel gals don't post often.

It's funny cos when I first joined the thread I was Chanel all the way, but cos of all the masses of great comments about the Bal Bags and T&D, I have ended up ordering one (work Anthra GSH - a left over bag from T&D's last batch) just to see what every one is raving about

My bags came today and they are great. The leather is really thick and chewy on the Argent and the Anthra is pretty thick too. I do think the PT is a bit too big for my taste, but maybe as a work bag not a purse.
I really hate that smell they have---Reps I mean. It was the same way w/ Eric's and Catty's---weird plasticy, chemically......

I meant to add that I think Argent is more Griege....

That smell...is it formaldehyde?? That's what I always think I smell when I open it. Makes me want to air out my closet where I'm secretly opening my package from China so the hubby won't know that I've bought yet another bag.

Yes, it's always a delicate balance since both hubby and I work from home. I have to run out to greet the postman as soon as he arrives, sign for it, throw the regular mail on the counter and run back into my closet and open the package. He doesn't buy the whole, well, it could be worse...it could be the real thing, argument.

Oh man...glad I'm not the only one who gets nervous when the Postal Worker brings my package and I think my hubster is going to commit me!! Hahaha. FunkyShow: I'm a big ole Chanel lover....but I feel like most Chanel reps are easier to spot and harder to get right. I'm VERY selective about my Chanels and only order from Jacky (and after having them "fauxthenticated" by someone who knows Chanel well). I will say that all my Chanels (from Jacky) I'm very pleased with! NBF's bags are (as bby stated so well) a steal! You're getting an italian leather bag. I can't get a bag of similar quality for the price. Even though it's a rep bag, it's worth more to me than an auth LV canvas (translation: plastic) bag. So I guess that's what it is for me. But I also love my Chanel and LV!

for beige, there are alot variation, some darker beiges that could be considered tan from 06-07, but the beiges now are very light...
