ITA that the small details can give our bags away (although only to those very few who know what to look for). I'm glad T&D are willing to change things to make the bags perfect! As long as the serial #'s are off so the bags can't be readily sold as auth, I'm super happy! I'd love the bags to be 100% spot on detail wise!

Really glad that the guys have amended the front panel issue, such a small thing, but a giveaway! Surprised that they said that the leather colours weren't up to them, I have no idea how these things work but thought they would have more of a say in the colours they wanted!

I have just received my Black GGH Flat Clutch. It came in a flat A3-sized package. There's also a cute little dust bag packed inside the FC.

It is as roomy as my First. The leather is GREAT. It is not shiny at all. The leather is distressed and NOT dry. It also feels thick. In fact, the leather is so great, it does not need any conditioning at all, so those who're worried you will need to moisturise the FC, worry not!

I have checked all zippers and the zipper on the front panel (which tends not to work very well on T&D's other bags) works fine. It is easy to zip open and shut.

I am super, duper happy with my purchase!

I'm heading out soon, so photos to come when I have time to post later.

ETA: I did not receive any tracking number from T&D for the FC. So those who've paid up and have yet to receive any tracking number, don't worry too much. The FC may very well be on its way to you right about now.

Ok, managed to take 2 quick snaps of my Black GGH FC. Sorry, no comparison photos as I'm rushing out soon.

1st photo is with flash.

2nd photo is without flash and looks more accurate to the FC in real life. The leather is perfectly matte and NOT shiny at all, which is the way I like it.

Can you see how wonderful the leather is? Can you feel how overjoyed I am with the FC?

xooey and lady B, beautiful bags, the leather is PERFECT I sure hope the leather on the bag I'm expecting will be exactly like that!

I emailed the boys and they told me the same thing they said to bagalicious, that the leather on the new bags is from the same batch as all the bags that have been sent out recently and that all new bags will be the same leather-wise. I sure hope that's the truth, I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
