Has anyone ordered LV mono canvas from Joy? Like a full bag? I got a Pochette Tikal and i think it looks good but now I'm itching for a bag......
I'm also considering Catty but her pictures suck! And i got 2 Damier bags from her and the straps were wrong.

I am wondering why do you ladies love the Brief so much? I tried it on at the boutique last time, and I felt that the shape is too thin, there is no base at all, that putting my stuff inside the bag would distort the shape of the bag..

The fact that it doesn't actually have a base is what I love most about it because I don't carry that much stuff in my bags really. That's why I normally don't like big bags, they usually look awful when not completely full of stuff. With the Brief, it looks great no matter how many things I put in it, be it half empty or very full (and it doesn't get distorted in this case).

Only certain Chanel styles from TSE are better than Jackies. Jackie has the best Chanel hands down, I also buy from a private supplier that can get me bags from Jackies factory. One of the most popular TSE styles that is better than Jackie, is the Chanel Jumbo XL Vintage Flap bag with Gold hardware in Black, Red, Tan, and Dark Blue.

I certainly now have the confidence to buy those colours from Jacky. I have compared the Tourquise and Jacky's is certainly much lighter, but it'll pass, and I think his Tan lambskin is spot on to the Darker Beige Caviar you posted. I aslo love the Coral colour and will be getting that as well.

Babybluestar I am also very particular about my Chanels. I have quiet a few authetic bought over several years, and tend to buy at least one each season so I have few to compare Jacky's with. I am also of the opinion that without a doubt Jacky's Chanels are the best I've seen. I have ordered a few from Catty and think they are hit and miss. That said TrendHaven said Francis TSE Chanels are better, but i've never bought from him before.

Buying from Jacky gives me the option to have Chanel bag on my arm almost everyday and for the price you pay you really cannot go wrong!!

I got an LV Mono Neverfull from Catty and it's near perfect!

thesiren, yeah, I'm pretty much annoyed by the bad interior of the Lilac First (especially because I have an authentic first and I can obviously compare and it's even more annoying when you see it side by side).

I was just wondering, do the other Lilac Firsts that the girls got also have the same issue, or have I just gotten a bad one? Girls, could you report?

i love this about both the brief and the work. you can stuff them to the brim (i've used my work for a weekend trip) for the gym and they look like a "bag," or you can throw in your wallet, cell, makeup bag and it looks like a "purse." both are SO functional.

devon - i have ordered a speedy 35, batignolles horizontal and a few wallets all in mono from jacky and they have all been fantastic.

comparing catty and jacky, i will say that jacky seems to have have better consistency when it comes to all products. i have seen A LOT of bad bags from catty on these threads over the years and not nearly as many from jacky (though they do exist obviously; i wouldn't be caught dead with his birkin, but that's just me).

I know some girls LOVE the twiggy.. does anyone have modeling pics? How is it in comparison to the city? I'm a city gal so I'm not too sure if I'd like the twiggy..

I still don't own a RH City, but I love the Twiggy, it's the perfect size, not too small, not too big. I think it is a bit more casual than the City, that's what I love about it as well. That said, it's great having both styles as each is very wearable

Malena- Beautiful bags!!! I didn't expect the Miu Miu to look that good.. is the leather smooshy or is it pretty tough? I know you said it was soft but how is it as an everyday bag? Tolerable? Lol. The argent city looks so tiny with GH but it's cute! I love it. And of course tempting me with more Anthra GGH... *drools*

The leather is not tough at all, I would say that it is pretty smooshy, but it doesn't collapse completely when it is empty and sitting upright, if you know what I mean. I think it would be great as an everyday bag, however, I haven't worn it so I can't say if it is sensitive and gets scratched easily.

The Anthra leather is to die for, it goes with GGH perfectly and I love how it turns almost blue under some lightings

I ordered a Maldives day GSH and now I'm considering changing it. I'm so torn! I'm just not sure I'll use that style as much? I used to love the day but now I'm not so sure. Girls who have Days - do you love it or hate it?

I have a Day, and I like it. It depends on how much stuff you carry. I like to have my wallet/phone/keys plus a book and maybe a bottle of water, and a scarf in case it gets cold, so for me it's a good size. If you're the type who carries less, it may not be the one for you.

but honestly, if you're that paranoid about your bag looking fake, you shouldn't carry one at all. no rep is perfect, ya know? it looks good, so wear it well!

mischa_lindsay - i can tell the bag is fake, and i think others would be able to as well. while no rep is perfect, some do look very close to authentic and can pass in high end stores/areas/circles. this one would not, imho. perhaps others will weigh in with a different opinion. i am not THAT familiar with the mini flap, but lambskin quilted chanel bags often scream fake, which is why i try to avoid them. i do want this bag though, and since no one seems to make it caviar, i'll go with the lambskin by default because i cannot find another light/small crossbody bag.

i am hoping jacky makes his mini flap with the bijou chain in black. i just asked him to, so perhaps if others email he will. if not, i'll go with the blue.

I know I love the size as well! But yeah any sort of big label bag always looks a bit suspect if not carried in the right manner, so I guess I'll just have to pull it off...nighttime...in a dark club!

Has T&D over made chocolate or raisin? ...I know several people have talked about how much they would love those or similar colors. I was looking at pictures of these and omg so yummy looking!!

chocolate was one of the very first colors T&D did...people were really happy with the color, but some of the other details (that they've since fixed) were off...
raisin is a brand new color for fall 09...i told them i would love one, but i'm not holding my breath...
there's a new style i like called the street, which is a new version of the bowling...i'm on the wait list for an authentic RH one...

thanks for the info allegra! i hope the black leather from their next batch is gorgeous like the recent batches of argent, anthra, and amethyst... i mean they should be getting better right? my black city from 2 years ago from them is not that great leather-wise (thin, not veiny, kinda shiny)... xooey mentioned their black GGH city being really "plasticky" and she had to toughen it up with conditioner a buncha times.
