Hi ladies!! omg i have been reading this thread for an year or so
and following you guys like crazy! Its so great to finally be able to participate in this thread : )))))

I have already two T&Ds in my collection
Praline Work RH and Black City RH
and an authentic argent weekender

and I have an anthra covered pompon from buyandsellmybag
which obviously can't compare with the leather of T&D but had to get it to fill my crave for a pompon

i'm contemplating on getting an anthra 09
T&D says 07 is sold out already
should i?? i wanted to wait for the raisin first
so disappointed no raisin this run : (

i think you should definitely go for anthra 09 (coming from someone who ordered 2 anthra 09 bags hehe) as it's a versatile color. i think you need it in addition to raisin.. they are both very different!!!

if anyone like i can take closer pic of the pompon
according to buyandsellmybag the leather is imported cowhide
but i have noidea what cowhide suppose to feel like
but this bag feels like there's a gloss over it that i cannot get rid of : ( dead giveaway
but its soft and slouchy
the tag is wrong, the measurements in some places are wrong
its definitely not a close copy of the auth but i think it will do for style

DM that's a good red pic but there is one missing from the lineup. It's a really old color
(maybe 04?) called, funnily enough "True red"

Now I have just been doin my homework like a good girl....

The colour reference chart on TPF is SUPER useful and it shows that the Giant Harware was introduced F/W 2007. Good info to know!
Now my Anthra Work from T&D is said to be 07 Anthra which was introduced in S/S 2007.

I have a GSH Work in Anthra 07. Not possible It was never made.
Am so confused with this release tone difference of Anthra You would only get GH on F/W Anthra 2008 and S/S Anthra 2009.

I love finding these details out. Just thought i'd share. So my GSH Work is now 08 Anthra



Pinkdolphin - I know - I couldn't find a pic with ALL of them on i'm afraid. I'm not sure they would run a 2004 colour, isn't the hardware slightly different on the early bags? I'm off to snoop again....


ETA - Yep 04 True Red came with only Raised Silver Hardware. Love TPF for answers!

I am soooooo confused now. Jees. After googling my Mac to death, there are infact Anthra 07's with GH.

So I have no idea what the crack is with the official colour ref library on TPF.
I have found a few GH Anthra 07 bags here is a pic for evidence!

Am off to hide away red faced

mm: Yes!! LMB products smell wonderful!! Very fresh and not too strong. Oh my goodness, I LOVE your bags!! If I could have anyone's collection here, it'd be yours hands down!! We have similar taste (which is why we're bag twins at least 3 times over) but you have all the bags I dream about but don't get (like maldives and argent)!!

DM: Anthracite is a staple color now, available nearly every season as part of the main collection along with white and black.
Also, Balenciaga introduced GGH in 07, GSH in 08. So yeah, your anthra is 08 not a problem since your work has blue undertones

Having seen the red line up..I like either the rubisse, rouge or tomato..either one of those would be nice, anything to help out DangerMouse on her quest for a red city!...Dreams do come true.....
I remember when I was the only name for Amythyst..pathetic little bagalicious on her lonesome...and then poof we were 15 + and confirmed.

Love your bags, How do you find your praline? I have a work as well (GGH) I had to have mine conditioned to make it less textured.
I also have a paraty, but mines smooth not python, do you use your paraty? I have seen quite a few about here on the streets of NY, and I always wonder are they real or knock off, can't tell at a glance.
