So my friend manages a Filenes in NY, tells me that there is "one of those bags" that I like in So I go in and have a look (pic by me)
This is the shape and color and this is the serial number 218883 467891
any ideas? I think it might me Blue layette but I'm not sure..could it be maldives?

Whoa!!! Nice score from FILENE'S LOL!! Yes it is a disount merch store like Loehman's (dunno if i spelled that right) or like a MUCH nicer TJ Maxx/Marshall's. Never knew they would have Bals though! It looks maldives to me. I just think the lighting makes it look yellow/greener.

The size seems to be spot on, and since i asked Jacky to stuff the bag, it has kept it's shape.
This bag is for my Sister, but i ordered the same one last year for myself, and the only difference i have spotted so far is that the caviar leather seems to be a little more shiny (not as shiny as above though!) and puffy. In addition to this the 'CC' lock is now the much thinner version compared to last years flat and wide version (if that makes any sense?). Am i right in thinking the lock varies in the authentics as well? or did it get updated?

indianrose nice loot!! I don't have a jumbo but I have an auth medium flap from this season and the CC's are thicker. I've never seen the jumbo in person though so I dunno what the CC's look like

About the 'CC's' and the leather, i've been looking at pics on tpf, and both seem to vary alot!

Indian_rose - I wanted an agenda too , but the medium one not the small.... Jacky told you why he send you the small ?? And is it for 2010?

feelclochette201 - At first i did think he had sent the wrong one, but then i compared the pics on his site, to mine and to authentics and the Agenda pictured as a medium is indeed a small. I think Jacky just posted the wrong text. Im fine with the small size though, but its not for 2010.....i was planning on buying some better quality inserts for it though anyway.

baby yorkie and other LV enthusiasts! I need your expert opinions! I am lusting after a multicolor (murakami) bag, do you think the reps are good for that particular line? I reeeeaaaally want a 'Greta' but I'm afraid the reps will look too obviously fake-y fake. any thoughts?

beavercall- If I recall, I think joy has the best multicolor bags. I hope I am correct on this... I probably need more backing for this, but that's what I remember.

I'd stay away from white MC. I bought one from Joy (fabaaa) and it was BLEEDING. Returned the bag and she gave me PARCIAL refund so I was out $45 for shipping the bag and the $30 or so she never refunded me.

anyway, she even told me white MC was always difficult so I'd try to stick with black.



At any rate, all MC looks fake, even the auths IMHO. HTH beavercall

Yeah there are so many seasons of chanel, so much variation, I think you are safe on the CC issue As long as you're happy with the shape and leather, I think that is more important. Now give us mod shots!!!!

Ooooh thank you socali and parkmin - I was thinking about Joy's bags but that's good to know. YIKES bleeding huh? I agree MC bags look fake like 99% of the time, even if it's real! But I just love the in-your-face color blast of the MCs. ***sigh***

yes and what's worse is that the bleeding did NOT show on the pics on her email. My bag was so nice but the LOGOS were bleeding, it was horrible.


And well, I lost money on that so I never bought from her again. But other gals were a LOT luckier and got a better bag!

I don't think this will be possible. We already had an nbf thread shut down, an ioffer chitchat thread shut down and the mods were kind enough to let us have an ioffer shoes and an ioffer accessories thread as of last year.


Also, our mods are being VERY kind to let us even have THIS thread here so let's not push it ladies
