I wasn't even expecting her to refund me my shipping back to her I wanted a new NON defective bag u know?

and I really think it was unfair of her because that was the one and ONLY bag I EVER RETURNED!!!! and u gals know I've bought TONS AND TONS of bags. I just thought it was SO unfair of her to KNOWINGLY send me such ugly bag. I mean how can they NOT tell? they even took pics of the bag before sending to me!!!


and yes, I've heard really good things of Joy too, but she was NOT cool to me. In fact, she ignored my email for the longest time and then when I finally told her I would tell everyone in the forum she finally answered and then offered a new bag.


that's when I asked for black because she insisted white MC was NOT GOOD. But then she sent me pics of a SLOPPY bag (misaligned)


whew. Anyway I don't want to ruin her reputation I've seen bags other gals got and they were so nice.


but I was NOT meant to get an MC bag I suppose.

PS: mind u, I am NOT a difficult customer by any means. a LOT of gals here know me and know I NEVER EVER returned a bag. This was the ONLY bag I EVER returned because I thought was VERY UNFAIR from the seller. It was TOO OBVIOUS to see

No need to explain yourself at all!! IMO the bag was obv. defective, and you were treated really crappy. That's when I would do a chargeback

I think it's great to share all our experiences, good and bad. And I def. appreciate your story because know we all know another thing to ask/look for in a multicolor bag!!

I've been away for a while - at least since I quit my job last year. But, now it is Christmas time, and I want to get a few bags as part of my present stash from the Husband. Plus, I gave my Mom some of my old bags - Chloe, LV Mono, etc., so now I'm almost purseless!

I'm sad to hear about your story, SoCaliGirl, because I was looking at a White MC, too. The fact that she admitted the White MC is bad makes me extremely worried about ordering that type of bag from Joy. But, I don't know who else makes decent MC, do y'all?

I want an everyday LV Mono bag that doesn't have too much going on with it and that I can carry on my shoulder. My old bag was the Manhattan GM, and while I loved it, it sucked for carrying on the shoulder since I wasn't designed to be worn that way. It was a cute bag, but the straps and the big strap over the zipper, etc., made it a logistic nightmare. Plus, I hate that it didn't have protective feet on it. Any suggestions?

Lastly, what is baby_yorkie's baby oil method? Is it simply applying the baby oil to the leather, or is there detailed instructions somewhere that outlines more steps?

Thanks for ur support Beavercall I just had to say it because I might sound like a complete **** trying to return every bag that has a tiny minor defect but i'm really not that way.


Anyway the other gals DID get a perfect bag from Joy so I hope u can get a good one. In fact I had seen comparison pics of Joy's with an auth and it was PERFECT!! My bag just turned out to be faulty.

Starbelly, nice to see u back!! u might want a NEVERFULL DAMIER MM for an everyday bag?

the oil method is simple. Just apply baby oil to the vachetta, make sure u use cotton balls. The handles usually absorb LESS oil than the side pipings so just make sure it's even when u do it.

I doubt i will be getting a fake prada bag for the fear of obvious flaws in the logo. I bought a prada wallet from Jacky not long ago and the logo is .

How about getting a LV neverfull?
I used baby_yorkie's method by applying 2 coats of baby oil onto the cowhide leather as evenly as possible. And then afterwards, I just leave it alone for a day to fully absorb the oil.

I think the Neverfull would be a great everyday bag, and I like that it isn't covered with a bunch of leather that I'll feel the need to really baby and take care of. Might get that, and then something else with a little more flair, and then, keep an eye out on the White MC. I don't know what it is about that White MC, but I just can't ever get it out of my head no matter how long that design has been out!

I think if I wanted to change mine, I would not hesitate to ask T&D for some extra corrected o-rings in my next shipment. I think they would be happy to help out with that.
