perhaps one way to bypass customs would be to send it via UPS if the sender is from the US. (also the time frame would be shorter)

i sent a city bag recently to europe. it cost be around 35 or so to send it via priority international with 200 bucks worth of insurance. the recipient was forced to pay 75$ in duties due to the declared value. but i had to declare it at that value or i couldnt insure it for the right amount.

the ONLY place that I know would be OK to declare the FULL value for insurance would be australia. You can declare up to $400 (i think it was about there or $500) no problem



Otherwise it should always be less than $30 to not inccur fees....

Here is my black GGH part time. The leather is perfect! Not too matte not too shiny and nice and wrinkly

Here's the Black GGH compared to Anthracite (I guess it's '07, not the recent run of anthra)

And lastly, here's the T&D GGH Black compared to my '07 Work.

The leather is identical in wrinklyness, shine, texture etc. Wonderful!!

malena- not shiny, must be the camera, it's thick and chewy and reflects light if that makes any sense, but it's matte.

hi everyone! finally posting pictures, been a while since ive had a bit of time free. anyway here is my mulberry bayswater from catty!



hope the pictures work! overall i'm really happy with the bag, if anyone is interested heres my review...

i forgot to ask for the bag to be stuffed so it did arrive a bit squished, as you can see in the pictures the corners kind of sag in a bit, they're gradually getting a better shape after i stuff the bag so i'm not bothered by this but just thought id say incase anyone was wondering. Also the bag flap is sticking out like that because the bag is stuffed full with the side belt things widened and i was carrying it like this (picture below) all day, it doesnt always look like that!



when i first got the bag i thought the colour was a bit off, so i took the little padlock covering thing into a shop and subtly compared the colours. They were very similar so no worries there. Howwwever the edging around the leather that covers the raw edges isn't the right shade, i forgot to check this against the original irl but it looks like from pictures it should blend in to the colour of the bag. Mine is a bit too dark, which you can see in the picture below.



I found the leather to be a bit smoother than id like in some areas, however ive seen the newer mulberry bags with smooth leather. I was trying to find an example on the mulberry website and id say this is what the leather is like. Does anyone else notice there are 2 completely different leathers on the main part and the handle? For a £450 bag, how shoddy is that!?

if anyone wants any pictures of anything just ask, i realised i forgot to take pictures of the inside when i was uploading. Woops. Now ive got this bag though im just thinking about the next. I'm sosososo excited for the ps1, i really hope it turns out well. I was hoping for the midnight colour too but i think ill go for the black to start with. Does anyone want to guess at how much its gonna be? I want it in every colour!

malena- if you have a look at the pic I posted with my pumpkins in the day light you will see a more realistic shot of the anthra texture with no light bouncing off the surface.
Who else has an anthra 09? just me Pink and arisaa?

i have a 17inch macbook pro and if i loosen the side belt things it fits in (i cant fully lock the flap though, but you could definitely carry it. so im sure 15 inch would be ok!

Can you guys please answer the question on how shiny the Anthracite leather is from T&D? In the photos, they look really shiny, but I'm not sure whether or not that's the photography? I don't really care for shiny bags. I'd appreciate your help.

^Its not plastic shiny but its not matte. I've seen auth bals that have the exact same shiny leather.

Texture color and shine comparision of Anthra 09..Hope this helps you a little better, difficult to capture the flatness of a shade without light bouncing, but I've done the best i can do with my Nikon point and shoot!
When the bag creases, light bounce off the corners, same principle as contours on a face, thats why most bags are stuffed in stock photos to prevent bounceback.
