KitterKat - thanks for the recommendations. I actually looked at the first bag you posted previously - I like how it has the LV golden plate on it, and it looks like it is casual but not overly so. The second one is cool because of the strap! The problem I had with the strap on the Manhattan GM was that the strap buckled - like a belt - and it was a pain to have to unbuckle and buckle it back every time I opened it. I always just left it unbuckled, but then it kinda looked strange to me, too. The push-and-snap that you have on your second bag is cute to me, and wouldn't be a problem at all.

Do you just lay your bags outside for a day or put them in the window or what? How long does it take for the patina to develop?

star!! I would be scared of the buckle. What if it breaks from the snapping? And well, the fact that will get scratched very easily!

jaydotcee: You may receive your Anthracite GSh with correct O-Rings. I understand that T&D was correcting this and they the new batch they send out will have the O-rings corrected. You may want to email them and check.

I put my bags outdoors when the weather is good but I have also put them in a sunny window. It usually takes a few days in sunshine to get the color to change. A Damier Azur Totally from Catty never did patina to much more than a beige color. Baby Oil helps a little. Babybluestar is the patina expert. Babyblue, where are you?

socaligirl - I have had a couple replica bags with buckles and haven't had one fall apart or scratch yet. I know other girls have had trouble with them. I'll let you know how this one does. I also always hesitate to buy bags with buckles. Good luck with a bag choice Starbelly.

kitterkat I never had a problem with my bags either but JUST in case always left the mahina's buckle open, I didn't want to have any trouble


just food for thought though.. the simpler the bag the less prone to break? especially if starbelly plans on wearing the bag every single day (which on dat case I would recommend and NBF but she clearly seems interested in LV)

I would go for another club in raisin! I love this bag. Thanks again and again Coco. The size is perfect and easy to get in and out of. I need to lubricate the zippers as usual. T&D get the stickiest zippers! But who cares!! The bag is perfect.

I'm considering buying the apple green weekender from T&D. Does anyone know how big the bag is? Is there a picture of someone wearing it anywhere? (I looked in the picture thread, but can't find anything)

And what do you guys think? It'll probably be strange to carry in winter, but the color just seems gorgeous.
