I was really hoping for a nice Navy Blue for the spring to wear with alot of white outfits l have. I already have the Anthra work gh, l'm afraid it will be too close in color, my only hope is that the city gh will give it a totally different look...........maybe?.......maybe not... how different should I expect the Officer to look from my Anthra any guesses?

they are different. but how much difference will you accept? if for me, if i already have a black, i wont get an anthra/dark gray/dark blue...but some people like bags even they are just slightly different blue toned anthra vs green tone anthra vs black....

baby_yorkie l'm a bit of a bag nut I alternate my bags pretty much every day or so.. depending on what l'm wearing so I like to have different hues of dark bags I just hope it wont be identical to my anthra, but lets live in hope

i doubt it will be identical but could be quite close in door (color looks brighter outdoor under sunlight)...i'll keep my finger crossed for u and all that prepaid for MARINE

Thanks Baby_yorkie It's not even 1 week since I received it but since the leather is so soft, it's breaking in faster than my other bags

Crystal7, Thank you for your kind words I own anthra and black and even though they r both close colors, I just had to have them both! GH makes a lot of difference too! So maybe try different styles or hardware?

Shelleybean - i also ordered some Louboutins, a Gucci scarf and a MJ wallet (i think, cant exactly remember!) - I love the Prada and shoes, wallet wasn't great, nor is the scarf. But they were only about $25 so im not too bothered!

PinkPrincess - the Prada is nice and worn in, had it for about 6 months and use it nearly every day (packed with stuff) so def has that slouchy effect It's a good size bag for everyday.....although I do find it heavy, even when empty! I will post mod pics in the next few days!

Eskielvr - I agree, the GM when full is a nightmare to carry, the straps are so thin that they really cut into your shoulders Not fun....i would maybe go for the smaller also.

i dont know if some of u remember i bought one of his chanel caviar jumbo flaps (the ones everyone was raving about at the time) a long time ago and it came crushed and creased.. i was never able to fix it and just recently sold it to a friend ~ and i want to give jacky another go~ what would some of you recommend as a very close to original chanel bag from jacky?

pls let me kno i missed this thread! (but my wallet probably hasnt )

I just read Jacky's return policy's, apparently if you do not receive a bag in 21days he will refund you 50% of the price..so knowing that I feel much better. Has this ever happened to anyone? He states that goods can be held up to 15-20 days.

But on a brighter note, I was sent my tracking number for my black rh city (Naomi) let the battle of the 2010 black bags commence!
I don't mind a bit of shine at all, in fact Ilike it.

for 2010.. l would like to get the Alexa Mulberry bag I am lovin that bag in tan and ivory i wish someone would make a very good rep l'm jumpin on the wagon for that!!!!, then some nbf's pale magenta, vert gazon, caramel, charbon, white, rubbise, yellow, this list would go on and onnnnnn and mui mui bow in a nice tan , and some ps1's also and this list would go on and on....

I too would love an Alexa Mulberry Bag in Oak. If someone does not make a good rep I may actually break down and get one for my Birthday in July 2010.

Here is a picture of Alexa Chung carrying her Alexa in Bryant Park, NYC last year. For me this is the perfect brown bag that I have been waiting for in my favorite color whiskey. TDF!

I wrote Catty an email asking if she could make some changes/corrections to the Alexa Bag. I am waiting for her reply. The back panel is really where the bag is off.
