Thank you for noticing! The funny thing is I'm not even a KL fan, especially not his latest Chanel creations (clogs? 
). He's just my favorite pop culture icon & CHANEL symbol... I think I'm gonna try to be him for Halloween this year though

? I've seen one faux Jumbo XL on the Chanel forum, posted by a blurry camera phone. And none of the experts interfered to scold, just praised it; it wasn't snuff to Jacky's either. The hardware was far too slim and it had that huge hideous sun in it! I could see a lot of the other repped labels being far more passable (i.e. LV etc.), just sayin'.

They told me last week that it was going to be ready in 2 weeks, but I doubt that.

I did not ask Jacky to stuff the bags or prepare them in any way. Honestly, I was so nervous in placing my first order that I forgot to ask him to stuff the bags, so it was a pleasant surprise that he stuffed all of them and packed them nicely.
Jacky picked out all the bags, I did not request for any particular shape/feature. I was quite nervous making the first order with Jacky because I'd read (in this thread) how curt he can be, so I just placed the orders and paid up, pronto.

i did with a balenciaga work one time in the "authenticate this" thread. ive been dying to with the chanel xl i just got from jacky. i use it as a useful tool to know what to look for in my next bag purchase

Get this: the psychos accused her of being duped in that they thought the auth. day was a replica. I don't remember the details, but it was HEATED.
Can anyone chime in with better memories?
As a side note, the side seams on my fangfang NF D.A. create an angled seam where the squares turn into little triangles. Anyway, at first I freaked out, but after pouring over the snapshots of auth. NFs on the other forum, realized that none of the bags have a consistently lined-up side seam.
In other words, you might expect that the squares at the seam line up perfectly so it looks like one continuous piece of fabric, but not so. The auths have a wildly varying, non-consistent side seam alignment. I've seen them so that the same colors batch so it looks like there are rectangles, where the squares are correct widthwise but don't quite line up vertically, and where they are sewn at an angle like mine.
Makes me feel better. I've cinched the sides in and I really like the profile. The tote is great.
I've decided. In the far-reaching future, I would order an orange alligator clutch from OMAS. That's about as structured as I could go. The deciding factor was my mom.
As some of you know, she's a rockin' 83-yr.old cancer survivor and all-too-recent widow after 50 years of marriage. So today, I get home from work and she's calling for me...
"Honey, check this out!"
And she emerged from the hallway carrying her vintage tobacco alligator bag from the 1950s. OMG. Lined in caramel lambskin. So Grace Kelly.
Way to go, Mom!

the case was an auth white GGH day vs NBF vert deau GGH day. the member was very sure that it was an NBF bag (which was advertised as real when she bought it). and when she brought it in the other forum, they jumped all over her and say the WHITE is FAKe instead....whatever!

You should do et. What was the verdict of the first? I actually think I saw Jacky's XL go for $1,500k on eBay, but I couldn't exactly prove it. I suppose I could've inquired further. At the same time I feel consumers should be more savvy when purchasing "luxury" items and actually know the label.

That tFSer sounds gutsy. I agree that some of tPF members can get a little nutty, especially about reps, geeze.
Also, how was doing business with FangFang? I really like her, she's very nice and helpful although a bit hard on the wallet.

? After searching the old threads, I discovered that Jacky has a history of preferring the largest size of a bag. Why is this? I would've bought the PS1 by now if he had a few more colors and smaller sizes.

sanitized i agree. i wish jacky would do smaller sizes of certain bags. maybe he thinks the larger ones are more popular, and easier to sell. although he DOES make mini flaps!? hopefully he makes the medium alexa

Just got an email from Jacky. He says he's making the "Grey" PS1 and only in one size. Anyone know if he means in suede or leather? Not that it matters, because besides his imperfect python (which he won't fix or discount 
), I may have to pass on the PS1 although I have a brother who might love it, but for his books etc. which I don't know if it can support especially with inevitable, increasing abuse.

I was just chatting with T&D about the possibility of making Caramel, Camel, or Automne in the future, and it looks a little unlikely at the moment . 
Apparently they buy the coin purses in order to get the color swatch to give to the factory and there aren't any coin purses in Hong Kong being sold in these colors. So unless anyone here has a bag/wallet/anything in these colors and would be kind enough to lend to them, they won't be making these colors anytime soon... Booooo!!!
