Has anyone tried accessing jacky's site? I can't seem to get in... anyone knows what's wrong?

I ordered my first bag from T&D and they said that it was shipped out on Jan. 2, they just gave me the tracking number yesterday and it still isn't working. Is this normal for them? how long does it take for you girls to get your bags from the time you get the tracking number? i'm anxious to get my bag, and becoming impatient!

Of all the 3 Chanel bags I bought from J, this has to be my favourite. I love how classy and cute it looks at the same time.

I love the burgundy flap on the interior, but my only grouse is, I cannot snap
shut the button of the burgundy flap! When the bag arrived, it was snapped shut. I had to open it to remove the stuffing and ever since then, I have not been able to snap it back in place.

My pics are pretty true to how the bag looks in real life, especially the photos that show the bag sitting prettily by the window. The quilts aren't as puffy as the bag shown in J's site. The lambskin is also not as 'shiny' as the bag shown in J's site.

I remember that some of you have the authentic bag, so I would like to check if the auth bag has much 'puffier' quilts and lambskin that looks as if it has a glaze/sheen on it?

The jumbo size classic flap has the line of symmetry at the bottom whereas the medium does not. I think some of the older medium classic flaps have the line.

EDIT: But if you mean the reissue (2.55) then it has the horizontal crease thing at the base.

I won't be sending anything to T&D for now. They have two Authentic bags of mine which I need to get back first. They have had my Authentic Club for three months. They also have a Giant day of mine. In truth my Autumn courier is the only Authentic Bal that I carry on a regular basis - meaning it is the only one I would not part with. I don't know that I would be able to send her away for three months and the idea that she would be with strangers in an Italian leather factory and not with the boys, I don't think I could do that.

Thank you for noticing! The funny thing is I'm not even a KL fan, especially not his latest Chanel creations (clogs? ). He's just my favorite pop culture icon & CHANEL symbol... I think I'm gonna try to be him for Halloween this year though .

So, this thread has been begging the question for awhile now... anyone ever post a rep on the "other" forum ? I've seen one faux Jumbo XL on the Chanel forum, posted by a blurry camera phone. And none of the experts interfered to scold, just praised it; it wasn't snuff to Jacky's either. The hardware was far too slim and it had that huge hideous sun in it! I could see a lot of the other repped labels being far more passable (i.e. LV etc.), just sayin'.

I used to post in the other forum. My experience is documented on TFS if you search it (summer 2009) I had no idea that TFS exsisted, and just used to post away for months and months with all my NBF bags...And YES my bags were ooh and ahhhhd at for like 3 or 4 month until I was outed by a member whose name I was not familiar with but my guess it was someone from here who created a name for the day just to out me as the member had no history in the other fourm, but anyway I digress.

Sidenote- As it happens I was not the only person from here posting bags in the other forum, And others still post by the way to this day


I was then asked by T&D if I had posted my PRALINE in TFS forum..and I said NO just T%# as they had heard that some one had a praline before them, so thats how I got to hear of TFS, thru T&D.
The "Praline lady" as i was then nicknamed at the begining is an oldie but a good story! I think maybe the best this forum had in 2009

The experience was bitter sweet, But it did give all the members here a good laugh, And that at the end of the day is worth the price of admission.

the point is, they can work faster and make copying your bag a priority (i am talking abt the bags that are already with them, not asking you to send your automne ). and thanks for sending your day to them!! I really wanted a sgh day but haven't been getting them because of the faults, but soon I will have one

Just got an email from Jacky. He says he's making the "Grey" PS1 and only in one size. Anyone know if he means in suede or leather? Not that it matters, because besides his imperfect python (which he won't fix or discount ), I may have to pass on the PS1 although I have a brother who might love it, but for his books etc. which I don't know if it can support especially with inevitable, increasing abuse.

As much as I love the PS1, I wouldn't personally carry books in it.
It looks like a work horse, because of it's style and masculine academic edge, but the rings that attach the bag to the strap are quite thin and weak, I would say papers and maybe a light laptop at max. looks are deceiving with this bag.
See what Fanbao and paperbirds say, But i actually took mine to the cobbler to have the stitching reinforced as i was concerened of snap-age in my face-age!

I have no clue when raisin and officer will be ready either, and I have no idea if the midday has feet, that would be good to know, i would assume yes, but not poz.

thanks for all the new wonderful comments! i actually shorten the straps last night so now the bag dosent hang as low and im actually alot more happy with it like that.

shopaholic48: I knew that when you sent your Midday they would not make the club a priority any longer as they have more interest in the Midday. They obviously put off making the club and prioritized with your Midday.
For this reason I will not be sending them my bags. I cannot be without a bag especially my favorite which is the Autumne courier. If one of you ladies want to purchase an autumne coin purse and send it to them that would work as well.
