I just got my Alexa regular size in oak from Jacky and Im quite dissapointed. The leather (if its leather?) is really stiff and looks like plastic... Any one else with the same experience??

The advantage with living in China is that I get my bags literally the next day. T&D shipped my bag yesterday and told me I would get it on Friday, but I actually got it in less than 24 hours!

Also, I noticed my bag doesn't have the usual smell of nuclear waste, so I hope all the bags from this batch will be the same! Maybe because T&D have their own factory now, they can control the smell?

I am not really familiar with the authentic handles, but the handles on my bag look superb. I've received bags with wonky and crooked handles before, but this one looks neat and symmetric.

I'm totally in love with this color. It's like an electric cobalt. I'm also getting an Outremer City GSH, and maybe a Weekender too. WE is my new favorite style

beavercall, Outremer looks fab, what would you compare the leather to, in regards with other TnD bags you have? Is it at all dry?

I don't know enough about bal with the auth colors and details to know if it's 'correct' or not, but I can tell you that it's a beautiful gray bag, for sure!

Pinky and coco how does it look compared to your gray days?
I think it could pass color wise for an 04/05/06 gray, they all have RH, The only thing i know is off is the 04 and 05 would have had a metal plate inside, but i can live with that.

here is my python paraty. it is less shiny irl and gorgeous. (the flash makes it look very shiny) i compared it to pics of authentic ones i could find online and *I* think its totally right.

i am really happy

Thats sounds so bizare as Coco, chicadee and Danger mouse and alkistis have all had good comments about the leather, are your trees upside down as well?

yes Candy i like it, Its a keeper, I think it's as good as I'm going to get to RH gray work without getting one from T&D.

The leather reminds me of my Black WE from the October 2009 batch. That was my favorite leather - medium thickness and evenly distressed. I have a feeling this leather will break in perfectly to achieve the quintessential smooshy, slouchy B-bag look.

It is not as dry or stiff as my Amy's (batch two) or Raisin bag. IMO, outremer is not dry - but it's not as supple or buttery as the Anthra/Amy July batches.

Oh my gosh, she is so gorgeous. The leather is softer and slouchier than the Raisin batch. And def. not as dry. This will break in beautifully. The coloring and "veins" on my bag are even, with no white streaks or splotchy distressing.

The color in real life is closer to the picture with it hanging on the hook, but my crappy pictures REALLY DON'T do it justice. Based on the ones I've seen on TPF, I think T&D really nailed this color!

I like this color WAY BETTER than Electric Blue. It's deeper and more saturated. It will look totally gorgy with GSH. I'll be ordering more outremer for sure!

Maybe its just my bag, or maybe I`m a bit picky.. My camera is broken, so I cant post pics right now. Besides the leather, the bag looks really nice. I have a pink Mulberry Bayswater clutch from Catty, and that one has great leather...

I think you ladies will really love this color. It's so saturated! A gorgeous inky cobalt blue... I can't stop staring at it!

I will be taking my Outremer First out this weekend. I didn't bring any small bags or clutches with me to Beijing, so this will be SO handy for clubbing, bar-hopping etc. (btw the nightlife here is AMAZING)

Now I'm really tempted to get an Outremer Day -- I've never really cared for the Day style - but suddenly that combo sounds really appealing to me!!

I am also jonesing for a Velo, but haven't decided on the color yet. I think it will make an excellent bag for school. I stopped using my Black WE cuz I want to give it a rest, so I've been using my Raisin Midday. It holds everything OK, but it's stuffed to the gills. My goal is to break it in as soon as possible!
