Hi everyone! My first post and let me tell you, I've been stalking this thread for ages and ages. I first stumbled upon it when I was looking for a good replica..and then found you all 1 year ago..and then found NBF, Jacky, Desiremall and Catty...and the rest, like they say is history and also, my wallet. I got the Lindy from Desiremall, a few LV from Catty, a Mulberry East West from Jacky and am now waiting for 2 more items from Jacky (a Hermes Garden Tote and a Mulberry Concertina wallet). From NBF, well, it's like I have to ban myself from talking to them else I'll just put in an order.
And bagalicious, that's one pretty gray work rh you have there.

I do wish that the leather was smoother as in authentic bbags. Here is a picture of smooth leather. It is a Papeete day from Spring 2010. Isn't the leather gorgy. This is what the leather on a Bal Bag should look like.

Your outremer First from T&D looks like it has this type of leather. Congrats on an awesome bag.

coco - Yes I totally agree!! The leather is smooth and soft and evenly colored! It does remind me of the amazing leather on the best authentics! I love my raisin too, but it is more thick and "pillowy" as you say - it's not as smooth as outremer Thank you for the advice on the day and velo - I'm gonna go for it!!

Blairwarner - lovely Chanel!! Black and Silver is a great combination to start with - so classic and you don't have to worry about gold hardware potentially rubbing off. I think Jacky's Chanels are the best!

Could you tell me a little bit more about the Lindy you purchased? It's DesireMall that doesn't have the branding, right? What leather did you get, Clemence? Togo? What colour? Do you find it functional? Easy to get in and out of? Do you carry it mostly by the handles or the shoulder strap? Whenever you have the time a picture and/or modeling shot would be really appreciated. The Lindy is in my Top 5 bags-to-buy list.
beavercall: Any luck on finding me a Panda yet? I mean I know you're busy with school and being in a new city and obviously "clubbing" with your new Outremer First, but still.............

Ah, shelleybean, yes, I remember you wanted the Lindy. Yes, Desiremall doesn't have branding. Paul (desiremall) is really easy to work with. I was lusting after the Lindy and so, got not 1 but 2 Lindys..am I crazy? I got them during the sale he had. I got it in 2 different leathers and different colours, 1 was in togo and another in clemence. Firstly, both are just delicious. Till today, they still smell of glorious leather. I bought them about May and Sept last year. I got one in grey (clemence) and brown (togo). Well, when you use it over the shoulder, it looks a bit boxy..coz the base is structured so it does not drape. I don't really like it then coz I'm short. But when you carry it in your hands, it slouches beautifully and that's when it's so pretty. I don't buckle it so it's pretty easy to get in and out. But bcoz the base is structured, you can find your things easily. It's also got 2 inner pockets and 2 outside pockets.
I'll take pictures later this evening as I'm at work now. I think it's a pretty bag. The clemence one scratches easily but is lighter. I gave the grey Lindy to my sis and kept the togo brown one. Are you planning on getting from Desiremall? Over here, I have never seen anyone carry a Lindy. It's such a beautiful under the radar bag.

beavercall i love your outremer! the leather looks fantastic. i am tempted to get an outremer velo but i'm not too good with bright colors so i should probably stick to black.. i'll enjoy it through you right now hope u are having fun there and getting your T&D bags in less than 24 hours.. jealous!

bagalicious i love your grey work, i think it looks perfect.. leather looks a bit thicker than my grey day but i would probably like that.. it looks more durable. also love the anthra GSH brief, 07 anthra was one of my favorite leathers

Back in November, I asked t&d about making a city in pewter hardware and they told me they have a list of people wanting the same thing so I join in the order.

I added a part time strap to my order, I think the part time strap should be RH or GSH since I don't think a part time PH exist.

T&D sent me a (franken?) part time PH strap instead and forgot to send the city strap. lol

Jacky's is Genuine Snakeskin, Catty's is printed/embossed snakeskin on leather. You'd have to confirm that with her with a quick email, but Jacky is the only seller I've seen with the actual real snakeskin bag, not just printed.

Does anyone have a problem recently with TnD's mirror backing? The back of my black city and amethyst's mirror was all uneven, stuck to the back. Don't know how else to explain it.

Linefri – the leather is indeed a bit stiff and plastic looking but I only used it for one day and it broke in nicely. I’ve carried it a few times now and the leather is now slouchy. But for sure it’s not as soft as my auth alexa
