Well everyone, it's 4.30 AM Beijing time and I've just stumbled home! My Outremer smells a little smokey, and someone spilled beer on her, but I was able to wipe it off with no harm done - she's a trooper!

Alasse To tell you the truth I've never seen a PW bbag until now (I'm still a noob when it comes to bbags). I kind of like it better w/ PW b.c it gives off a clean and simple look. I forgot to mention that your city looks awesome (perfect amount of distress)!

bagalicious When you get your grey work could you please review the quality of the leather and also compare it to T&D's bals? I'm really curious about buyandsell's bbag quality. Thanks .

I have a question for weekender owners:
Do you ever think that authentic weekenders are smaller or squarer than ours?
It's just that when ever I see an authentic weekender in stores I think it's wearable and it looks smaller, and when i come home and look at mine it looks like a house...is it just me?


And yes Via Sarah of course i will give you my honest review with my en route gray RH Work, I would have not bought from buyandsell if T&D were making gray again (i begged them) they said NO.
So I decided I HAD to find an alternate....I would rather have a gray 05 then any other color to be honest, so I just had to go for it.

Kat, don't do the nail polish remover. I have a feeling it will take the shine and/or colour off the bag. If it was me, I would put a little bit of CLR on a Q-tip and dab the inside of the bag or inside of the shoulder strap first. Somewhere inconspicuous in case it bleaches out. I'm guessing the stain is caused by rust, yeah? Try the CLR and dab with a cotton swab and if that doesn't work you could call a furniture store and ask them if they can recommend something for getting those kinds of stain out of leather and/or vinyl furniture.
Let me try to remember how I got some stains out of my vinyl pants and naughty nurse uniform..... I have to dig deep in the archives, but it'll come to me eventually.

I told my momma and although we do not have CLR at the house, she may go and get some.

I am a bit tipsy right now.... (I think I'm the first to ever do "drunk posting" on TFS - ) It's 12.45 am in Beijing and I just had a "pre-game" at a Korean dive bar. I'm headed out again in 30 minutes. My outremer first was a hit! It's so easy to carry and fits wallet, iPhone, pocket kleenex (for public bathrooms in China - it is a MUST), and keys - all the essentials - and the strap is so handy. I am a klutz and cannot carry a clutch. I would lose it in a blink.

And I'm the same way - i don't think I could ever do a clutch. Having to always remember to pick it up and put it down and on the bar and off the bar and on the table and off the table ...

Sorry to double post, But I just went to bal.com and looked at different front panels...and Coco you're right...some are less pointed (more curved) than others and there all 2010 RH + GH...I never knew that at all! thanks for bring that up...I'm suprised that it hasn't come up before...did we all learn something new today? or was it just me and Malena?
So crystal- i retract the comment about the pomgazon city having a less pointy front panel...looks good to me now!
Look on bal.com at the castagna GSH city compared to the moutarde for example...castagna more curved,moutarde more pointy!

Bagalicious- count me in too, I try and learn something new everday I am also happy with the color of his pommier city, I have researched the auth one and put the pics side by side and from his pics it looks very close, but we shall see, time will tell

it with the next batch of black leather which should be sometime in May/June.

Also I meant to tell you that if you search on TPF, Bal thread in the colors, look for the gray color thread you will see a variety of anthras from different years, most have either green or blue undertones.

Just came in from Barneys...And they have no Bals with RH just GS and GG and CH.
BUT I tried on and saw the "town" like a first but taller, and it had G Rose HW...well not giant, but the HW that is on our CP'S...you can wear that bag messenger (long strap) its very cute for anyone who loves first's and city's.
GGH will only be available at Bal stores and Bal.com so barneys Bal specialist say's...I checked out 2 briefs..they had an anthra and a black...and let me tell you our T&D boys are GREAT at what they do!

Bagalicious-I can't wait to see your gray work also, what did you think of the Rose hardware? did it look nice with black?

Yes Crystal, I did like it very much, it was just different enough to feel like a new look, but still similiar enough to feel like what we like. (if that makes senseflower:
I can't wait for the gray work either!

And I look at it this way, if it's a color that the boys are not making, and you want it, i say go for it. His feedback is very good, and as I mentioned his service and communication was good,So lets just hope the bag is.

Pinky and coco how does it look compared to your gray days?
I think it could pass color wise for an 04/05/06 gray, they all have RH, The only thing i know is off is the 04 and 05 would have had a metal plate inside, but i can live with that.
