Coco - I would go for another Club bag but not in black, it's too close to anthra. Have T&D offered to do the club in other colors.....or do we need three orders in one color in order to do it? I wouldn't mind the olive or a spring color in that style. Love mine!!

KitterKat: The Club was not made in any Spring 2010 colors so I don't think they will make it in any color other than Black.

SMKelly The bag looks perfect! You're so brave for taking the risk. I plan on dyeing my BL to a darker blue or black in the near future so I might ask some advice . How long did the whole process take?

Thanks so much for your note! The most important part of the process, to me, was drying time. I applied three coats of the Feibings, and the purse dried at least 1.5 days in between coats. I applied one coat of the Tarrago self shine, and let it dry for three days.

Looking over the purse, there are little dotty spots where I'm sure I slapped on too much Feibings at one time and didn't sop it up enough, but it's all good.

I'm here any time.

OK, I'm really irritated. It will pass, but humor me.

SO two weeks ago, I asked the boys if they could send me a swatch of the Sang. Even offered to pay for s/h.

I've emailed them 6-8 times and finally today, their courier responded.

$25 for the swatch, s/h.

WHAT?!?!?

WHAT THE F?!?!?

So I replied, telling them I didn't want the whole goat. Just a 1x2 or 1x1 inch cutting that could easily be sent in a letter. Or duct-taped to a bloody postcard. Or a sang postcard. I made a funny.

Alternately, I asked that if I bought the purse given that the color was good, if I could get a price break or something given that I was insane enough to OK the $25 swatch.

God almighty.

Hi lovely ladies! Last time I was here the board was on #5 and only a few hundred pages! I can't even attempt to catch up but wanted to pop in to post my retraction!!!

I had stated numerous times that my friend got an LV Mono Speedy from Catty and the piping didn't patina......well, I saw my friend's bag last month, and, after months of use, it has a GORGEOUS, honey brown patina. Piping and all! It looks ridiculous. Totally authentic. It would fool me if I hadn't ordered it for her!

SO! Some of Catty's bags may not have piping that will darken with oil and it may take the piping a long time to catch up with the rest of the bag....but it does patina eventually!

I'm really sorry for posting incorrect info! My Galliera's piping wouldn't patina either and the bags were ordered together so I thought it was a consistent thing......and, FWIW, my Galliera still has white piping. But I haven't used it much.......

I just heard from the boys about my sang swatch. I told them to throw it in the regular mail as long as I could be assured they'd hold some leather for me if I love it. They said they could do that.

Also, I told them there are at least 10 of us who are interested in Olive, and they said they'd love a cp to copy.

Since they got a sang cp to copy, I wonder why they can't invest in an olive one. Oh well.

Again, as soon as I receive the swatch, I'll Pantone match it and post for all to see.

i got an ame day RH and really like it. the leather is on the thick side, not too veiny and just a bit distressed. such a nice pop of color

Okay, so as I mentioned in my last post it's a long story but the extra short version is that my HG Dior Cannage Drawstring Shoulder Bag that I've wanted for like... ever! is out of stock with ehbest. I paid for it and an LV Mono Noe but was only shipped the Noe. That being said, they are going to send me any bag I want of equal value. and I of course don't have to pay the shipping.
Decisions, decisions. Right now it's a toss-up between the following....
Marc Jacobs Stam in Black
LV Nomade Speedy 30 (the LV tag is off on the one in the photo, if they sent me a photo of a perfect one it's high on the list)
Chanel Quilted Lambskin Kelly in.... Purple?
Chanel Coco Cocoon Lambskin medium zipped tote in Black
Hermes Massai in the grey colour... Etoupe? (stitching is decent and as my good friend chelsea2901 said.... the bag isn't popular enough for people to be concerned with the details, most people don't know what it is and it also doen't say HERMES on any outside visible parts - or something like that.
Tod's new style D-Bag Bauletto (the lining I'm pretty sure is totally off which is most likely a deal breaker for me.)

Should I ask them if I can get both a Chanel Cocoon tote in nylon and maybe another LV Mono piece, like a Speedy 35? (I have a 30) I'm very satisfied with the Noe they sent me. Not a 100& perfect rep, but you'll need to know the bag really well to know what isn't quite right about it. Quite frankly I'm not sure everyone does. How many stories have you hard of people showing their mums (for example) their Chanel rep and mum thinks it's perfect but you see that millimetre difference in the clasp height or whatever.

I'm still looking but that's pretty much what I've narrowed it down to.

the leather is ridiculously soft.. I've already scratched it in three spots. there's a forth that came with the bag, and an issue with colour dying that's quite small.. but otherwise the colour is gorgeous and the leather fantastic.

the hardware is not one uniform gold colouring, and the shape is a bit off. Still, it's not bad. The pictures make it seem better than it looks in real life a little bit.. sorry for the camera photos btw, I will have some nice dslr shots on here soon.

funny how u said the pictures make the bag look better than in real life, coz usually it's the other way around..

oh last questions, what's the stitching, zipper cloth, and the edge paint color? looks black, but i'm not 100% sure.

I am not getting an olive coin purse. I purchased an Autumne Coin purse to send to them and they say they need another bag maker to go in with them to make the color. Had I known I would never have purchased it. I prefer coin purses in pops of color like sang and papeete.
