Since they got a sang cp to copy, I wonder why they can't invest in an olive one. Oh well.

I am not getting an olive coin purse. I purchased an Autumne Coin purse to send to them and they say they need another bag maker to go in with them to make the color. Had I known I would never have purchased it. I prefer coin purses in pops of color like sang and papeete.

oh coco, i'm so sorry to hear that. while we all appreciate girls sending their auth bags to t&d, sometimes i feel like you girls are doing all of the legwork for them. i thought it was ludicrous a year or whenever ago when they suggested we all go in and buy a bag to send to them. the very fact that this was their idea is bad business, imho. it's one thing if you already own a bag or plan on buying it anyway, but do not bother purchasing things in hopes that t&d will produce the color. they talk the talk, but don't always walk the walk. i think we've learned that by now.

i hope the boys go back to doing older bal colors. the new ones aren't anywhere near as interesting to me.

angel: I would love one of each of those colors, unfortunately they can't really do them if they don't have a coin purse swatch of the actual leather color so I don't think there is much hope of that happening.

thesiren: I do like the Olive Green and Canard for Spring so that is whay I am buying BBags in these colors. The ones for Fall 2010 don't appeal to me at all so I won't be buying any Fall Authentic Bal Bags. I don't mind though. I will just enjoy all the lovely bags I currently own.

T&D mailed out my Raisin City w/RH, Raisin Day w/RH and Raisin Giant Day w/GGh so I should hopefully get them by next Friday, March 19th.

Marc Jacobs Stam in Black-love it-classic and feminine but if it has the suede lining it's a heavy bag (it's substantial even with the cloth lining)

LV Nomade Speedy 30 -love it-again a classic but what color, the caramel or the black??

Chanel Quilted Lambskin Kelly in.... Purple?-nope, jmho-I don't think you'll use it as a go to everyday bag and it will sit in your closet

Chanel Coco Cocoon Lambskin medium zipped tote in Black-cute, but see above

Hermes Massai in the grey colour... Etoupe? -a great classic bag. find out what kind of leather it is-clemence or togo. I think you'll get a lot of use out of it.

Look at his herbag if you don't mind being careful to keep it clean-it's nice for summer and I also love the GP in all leather and leather/fabric

Coco, please don't think I was inferring that you should buy and send them one! Oh no! Not at all. I just think that since they make a bundle off us (and women on other forums plus their "Italian" and "European" contingents), that investing $200-$300 on a cp to perfect a color shouldn't even be an issue.

I should suggest to them that every auth. coin purse they buy and use for color matching could be put up for sale as a used auth. on their ioffer site, in order to recoup their investment. It might work.

SMKelly: I didn't think you were inferring anything at all. I am just stating that I am not purchasing anything that I didn't plan on buying in the first place ever again. T&D wrote to a member here stating that they would make the Autumne if someone here would purchase an Autumne coin purse. I purchased it and just want everyone to know that that is not necessarily true. Also T&D cannot sell the Authentic Coin purses after color matching.To match/reproduce a particular color T&D cut out a piece of leather from the coin purse and send it to the tannery to be reproduced color wise so the coin purse would be destroyed for all purposes.

for those who has ordered the latest batch of ame, how is the leather? thinking of ordering a day! thanks

The leather is thick, matte and VERY dry. Oh, and very stinky too.

But after conditioning, it's great. Too bad the process needs to be repeated because it tends to dry up again. The colour is lovely, especially in daylight. So bright and eye-catching

/\ You know it's funny I cried and went on and on about Amethyst until everyone was throwing eggs at me thru there computer screen and i think I have used that bag twice! whats up with that? nothing to do with leather texture, I love it, just plain and simple I never use it.
