I have to agree with you..last season I wanted so much of the stuff as went to the boutique in Paris I found many pieces were enormous on me and that was in the 0 size. =/

But this season I can't find anything that really speaks to me..
The pieces have just looked a little 'off' thous far, but let's hope the next season is much better!

isabel has a niche or at least had one, but she's become too compliant as of late and it shows. it happens, lets see if she gets her groove back this year. its funny you mentioned balmain (maybe the intention was there ) because she gone off the rails in that direction.

^yes, the Balmain mention was absolutely intentional!!
The boots especially remind me of Balmain, and i'm not surprised to hear that they are selling out at a place like Curve...

pucci, that is such a shame about the sizes, as there were many strong silhouettes in that collection that I can imagine fitting nicely into your wardrobe.

I really hope Aby will give us a review when she sees the collection in stores, as there's so much more to see over there and she has such a good eye, besides.

Yes... so many items that looked fantastic on my friend but not so much on me.... I guess it's because Taille 0 in IM is cut more from 36-38 and often runs on the big side..I have problems with her skirts and dresses, which really was a shame because it's really my style.. there is still this dress that haunts me..


I actually spoke to another SA in The Kooples boutique which said that most of the stuff is too big for her as well.

I did however get a really nice pair of trousers.. black with quilted pleating at the front, I love them so much... and recently scored an amazing top in a wool blend in a olive colour.

..I too hope that dear Aby will contribute with her thoughts once most of the collection is in store.

aby, what's your fancy this season? the only thing i ordered [so far] is the blue jeans, just because her pants fit so perfectly.

did you try anything on?

I just bought a very basic Etoile plaid shirt and then there's the wrinkled flowery silk dress just like the one Michelle Williams wore that I plan to get in the very near future.

I spotted a patchwork tee and a lace sweater which are too pricey from the main line and that I don't really need, so that will wait.

And that's it for now. Nothing else really caught my sight but then my last visit was a few weeks ago and all the collection wasn't in store yet.
I'll certainly pay a little visit this week-end so we'll see...

I just bought a few pieces from Creatures of Comfort-- the denim shorts that were shown on the runway, a linen tee and a cashmere blend tank. I also got some linen/cotton tapered pants in dark grey from Heist, but I don't have a picture of those.
