He maybe finished, would love to no. The world has changed so much . But he is still loved.

I actually think he’s more essential now than ever. Louis Vuitton could truly benefit from having him replace Nicolas. The younger generation connects with timeless talents like John - and they already respond to Pharrell. NG isnt connecting since its all concept, no feeling. The younger crowd isn’t connecting because there’s nothing emotionally alive in the work.

I think the world is ready for highly unique detailed clothing again. The new luxury customer doesnt understand that 00s look of putting rochebobois furniture in a traditional French apartment. They grew up with a Kartell chair in their 17th century apartment. They want reimagined claw foot chairs in their 17th century apartment that look and fit the apartment is sincere and not ironic. John is the perfect person for the job.
