how jealous are we all to learn that superBlake walked the lion catwalk the night before the show, then went to dinner with karl, and ended up having breakfast (sleepover/nosleepatall) "she in her sequins, karl in his three piece suit" ?!?!?!? uhhh to be tall, and blonde, and beautiful, and young... oh to have those legs, and a pair of louboutins named after you...

^ I was so jealous when I read that- when can I spend a couple of days with Karl at a Couture Show!!? I could bring my scrapbooks and show him my obsession, I mean interest, in all of his work...!
BTW, I have a new scanner and volumes of Karl things to share, but I don't know how to credit the pictures since many of the original sources are lost to history, and I don't want to get in trouble...again....stilll...

Lunching With Lagerfeld

(NEW YORK) The Fashion Institute of Technology will honor Lagerfeld on September 10, adding yet another massive event to the flood of activities. Lagerfeld will receive the Fashion Visionary Award at the Couture Council Luncheon that Friday afternoon. Guests will congregate at Avery Fisher Hall in the Lincoln Center Plaza, as Simon Doonan plays the role of master of ceremonies and Chanel muse Diane Kruger presents the distinguished award. The chairwomen include Daphne Guinness, Amanda Brooks, Poppy Delevinge, Lauren Santo Domingo, among others.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Museum at FIT, New York’s only museum devoted solely to the art of fashion. Profits from the luncheon will enable the museum to feature exhibitions, such as the upcoming Japan Fashion Now (September 2010-January 2011) and Daphne Guinness (September 2011-January 2012). We just hope Lagerfeld saves room for lunch! The award ceremony is hot on the heels of the buzzed-about Chanel dinner, which will take place the night before on September 9 at the Soho boutique.

that aside, those mirrors are also the ones that decorate the hallway that leads to karl's office at the Chanel HQ in 31 rue Cambon.

nope, but we do know that the shows in Paris start on septembre 28 (10 days of shows!! )

So by my calendar, that means the Chanel show, which after all is the only one that matters, will be on Tuesday the 5th of October (Karl's shows seem to always be on Tuesday...) B) I trust The Ritz can get us the usual block of suites and fleet of Rolls Royce for the week...
