Kate Moss: I'm getting married

SMITTEN KATE MOSS enjoyed a romantic break in Amsterdam — then blurted out: “I’m getting married.”
The grinning supermodel emerged from a bar to tell Dutch fans of her plans to wed THE KILLS guitarist JAMIE HINCE.
One onlooker in the pub said: “The pair were in a bar looking very loved-up. Kate was so excited it looked like she had just accepted his proposal there and then. She was very happy.
“She came out giggling. Lots of fans were taking her picture on their mobile phones. She told them, ‘I’m getting married.’ One girl asked her when, and she said, ‘Soon’.”
Kate also talked about her marriage plans when she met a fashion journalist in the city’s Cafe Tabac.

Pals say Kate, 34, has been all over 39-year-old rocker Jamie during their Amsterdam stay.
His band played a show there on Saturday and then the couple had time to enjoy the city’s famous sights before moving on to Brussels on Monday.
They have been dating since last summer — a few months after Kate finally split for good from PETE DOHERTY, 29.
A friend of the Croydon-born model revealed: “We’re all so happy for Kate.
“Jamie looked like it could have been a bit of a rebound thing at first, but now it seems like it’s the real deal.”

I have no reason to think Jamie is not a nice guy and all, but I think they are not a very good match . She seems to merge with her boyfriends and to me he's devoid charisma. I wish her boyfriends had their own jobs( that she could not interfere), their own houses, their own friends, their own hang outs, and just stopped being such hanger-ons filling the space left by the last guy.

And I used to think that she was a really nice mother, but lately in my opinion this is becoming to much, Lila has a father we all know that and she does not need her mummy all the time, but on the other hand doesn't she miss her kid? I find very upsetting the fact that she prefers playing the groupie around Europe than being with her daughter. I guess I'm becoming old.

I get where you're coming from Les, maybe she spends time with her daughter but the only thing we ever hear about is her exploits with people.Who knows though ,in my short life I've learned that I can believe practically everything ,because I have seen crazy things happen.

I really don't know enough about Jamie to make a decision about him concerning his relationship with Kate though.Time could change that however.

We really don't know Kate as a mother but I remember watching a video once and all these paps were waiting for Kate outside her house. Lila walked out first with the nanny into the car, none of the paps took pictures than Kate came out a minute later than the paps went crazy taking her picture. Kate obviously doesn't want her daugther to pictured or with her when she knows the paps will go crazy To me thats seems like being a 'good mother'....she obviously cares about Lila's safety...

^ i don't think kate tries to ensure normality in lila's childhood as much as she could. her relationship with pete was completely irresponsible, as well as the activities she took part in during those two and a half years. kate had millions of dollars prior to lila's birth, yet she continues to traipse around the world leaving her daughter for days (and over a month in the case of her "vacation" in arizona in 2005) at a time. i babysit twin girls who are a month older than lila and they become upset if they don't see their mom for twelve hours; i don't think they've ever spent twenty-four hours apart from her.

plus, i did saw recent candids with Jefferson and Kate in Jefferson's thread and Lila was in the pics, so maybe paps decided or for some strange reason (for them of corse, i think that's common sense) to lay off from the photographing Lila.

That's exactly what I meant, i will never know how is Kate as a mother when she is present, but we do know that she 's often without her kid for long periods of time. I do not advocate at all that she walks around with the kid in London, the kid has to be protected that's why i always saw her as someone that is very responsible in that area, but now all this hanging around with guys around the world, to me is becoming too much, in my opinion she does choose to become apart from her daughter an awful lot. She does not even need to. It's her choice, and a choice I do not agree.
