I find it so ridiculous that people still defend her. (obviously not in this thread)
although I didn't watch the Twilight movies, I saw her in The Cake Eaters where she wasn't that bad and her style is (was) quite interesting to follow, but now I've lost all my respect for her as I despise cheaters. they're both equally guilty but I think it's him who has more to lose. if Liberty can't keep her man locked down than who can heh. I better not get married.

i love that gif, it's the antithesis of this summer in terms of gossip, first tom and katie, now this.

btw, there are suddenly 4 batches of new pap pics of kristen from last week. she seems well aware of what is coming her way in the third batch (pics in her thread).

edit: just read that there are pap pics of her crying in the middle of the street from yesterday but there's still a bid for them so they're not out. oh god kristen, just hide for a couple of weeks (if these really turn up to be real).

Fox News just blatantly called her a homewrecker, so i guess the backlash is just hyping up. If more of those incriminating photos indeed come out next week, everything will explode once more.

I don't think so. At least Stewart has Adventureland and Into the Wild (and The Runaways & Welcome to the Rileys were decent). And she got great reviews for On the Road despite the sucky reception. And prior to that, she had Panic Room and Speak.

Pattinson has a fairly ambitious film by a great director (Cosmopolis), but that got mixed reviews. That is all.

I agree with you. The films that Pattinson has been in haven't set the world on fire, from those two he's the one that certainly needs to rely on the Twilight fanbase.
I think she will do fine in the future, directors seem to love her. (no pun intended)

Of course you shouldn't go around sleeping with married fathers, but Kristen has no obligation to Liberty Ross and her children.

As for the guilt thing, I think she is guilty towards her boyfriend and he towards his wife, and they both have pretty low morals considering they both knew the other person was taken.

If that was what I meant, I would've said that. People are saying that she she shouldn't be blamed and/or that she shouldn't get all the blame. I'm saying she played an active role in what happened. I can't place blame on her since I'm not involved in the situation (none of us are) but can Liberty Ross? Hell yes she can, she can on her and Rupert.

it's 50/50, she's equally to blame as Rupert, no more and no less. she's a homewrecker just as he is. i could understand that she's not as much to blame if she had never met the wife and kids (i guess if you just know they're there but don't know them personally it's easier to shut them out of your mind) but she worked with them, even if she didn't like them, it's just a level of disrespect i can't even understand how to ever justify that behaviour

she also played the loving girlfriend to Rob while this was going on, i could never look my partner in the eyes and act like nothing happened while i was having an affair. i really can't get into the mindset that drives someone to do this

catherine: if she had done this with some hot up-and-coming (single) actor i could believe that, but with wife and kids involved this is too dirty and hurtful. i don't know who would gain from this

I was actually considering this but it seems kind of extreme and I'm not sure it'd help selling the movie. Maybe, if they play it so they make up and become the "perfect" couple once again.
