The new video really reminds me, in a way, of Can you feel it by Michael Jackson/The Jacksons : the whole speech at the beginning, the idea of creation... Can you feel it was just less 'in your face' I guess.

WOW what a video! Her body looks amazing, though I remeber her concert in october and she looked nowhere near that fit. I didnt even notice any other people in the vid, Anna V or raquel but I couldnt get my eyes off of Gaga :woot:

As always I LOVE it, but her body doesn't look that good in real life however.

I love her but the new video is terrible and just vile
The Thierry Mugler makeup screamed market operation to be honest...just remember the womenwear show will be livestreamed in a few days...

Eh. I was disappointed with the video. And yes, her body looked amazing... but she was totally digitally altered (as she usually is in her videos, etc.)... doesn't that go against the meaning of the song.. "born this way"? i think not, Gaga. don't get me wrong, i love her and she is uber talented.. but i was a little disappointed. her dancing skills are improving though.. she's better than britney now! ha.

gee so much negativity around here.
gaga made me proud with her new vid. i loved it.
but then again im not into cutesy kinda stuff.
this was a great vid.

Imo, the video could never have been bad or even mediocre... with it being directed by Nick Knight and everything. To me, it lived up to my expectations... it got better the more I watched it.

I honestly don't know what the people that were "disappointed" expect or were expecting...

The song is a mediocre pop song (albeit, it has a good message), but that video was avant-garde performance art pop magic. Personally, I think it could've had less obvious sponsorship of Nicola Formicetti for Thierry Mugler, but still... it was a great video.

If anything, the video made the song better. I personally loved the video and would even say it's one of her best. I like how she kept it simple (albeit simple by Gaga standards) and made the imagery at the beginning and end crazy and powerful. Although I might be biased because it completely reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey, which is one of my favorite movies.

It was definitely Raquel, Formichetti tweeted it in his fashion credits for the Born This Way video, here on his blog.

Hope this is okay to post here...thought the folks on this thread would be interested...

"Lady Gaga is looking for 10 amazing bloggers or video journalists to submit a 1-to-2 minute video showing why they should be the ‘little local monster blogger’. The winner will get to hang out on tour with Gaga and interview, document what is going on for Virgin Mobile. Find out all about it at talenthouse.com"

GaGa's actually going to be walking in the Mugler show tomorrow, as well as previewing the song 'Government Hooker' in the show's soundtrack.

^^ T4P...Cool. B)

I absolutely love the video for 'Born This Way'. As usual LG provides us with a interesting visual feast. :flower:

i saw her in concert last night and i am completely obsessed with her now. i didn't start liking her until bad romance came out but i must say her voice is amazing. even when she was dancing and out of breath she still sounded exactly the same as the record.

I loved that video. It's Gaga and she's always entertaining no matter what she does. I loved her dancing around in the suit with the pink hair and skeleton makeup. Wasn't really expecting so much afterbirth, but hell, it's Gaga.

Her with Rick Genest aka Zombie Boy were also my favorite parts of the video. B)
