So while Blake is getting big coups such as a major leading role in a much anticipated movie, Leighton is guest starring on Vampire Diaries? A show as laugheable and badly written and acted as Gossip Girl?

How dare you diss VD?!! I love VD and it's a million times better than GG - it has IS! Leighton's guesting? I hadn't heard. Are you referring to Blake being cast in The Green Lantern, a complete miscast btw? But yes, it's quite the difference.

Also agree that Blake was horribly miscast, still, the movie is MAJOR! (And a sign of Blake's great connections/management/ability to move up in Hollywood).

I seriously LOL at attempts to justify Leighton's fail filled singing attempts or to make it seem like a success. From all the sources that matter (ie. critics and listening public) is looks like its gonna get panned .

Thanks, Boomer! I must admit, I don't follow Leighton's thread as often anymore. I just haven't seen anything spectacular from her style-wise for a long, looooong time.

No, I totally agree. GL is MAJOR. (But VD is my guilty pleasure , GREAT episode last night!) And way too major for Blake imo, but Leighton too. Would have LOVED to see Leighton in some supporting roles in a couples of indies to prove her acting skills, but instead she's now "singing". I just wish she would get it out of her system as fast as possible (!) and then re-focus on acting. And a better style for that sake.
