Having seen more pictures now from other angles and closeups it's growing on me. It's unfortunate that there's such a mass of black clothed people behind her.
Her look reminds me of McQueens dominatrix/glamazonian days, and when looking at the details this might be one of her most put together looks. It's understated (perhaps too understated for the Met) but the hair, the shoes, the tight caged fit, the cuff chained clutch, it all flows nicely together.
But like I said, a bit too toned down for the MET, you really have to take a closer look to notice.
